  • Patent number: 11362557
Abstract: An electric motor for reducing eddy current loss including an armature; a field element or permanent magnet as a magnetic source; and a shaft rotating together with the armature or field element. The permanent includes magnet particles bound together by a binder resin, and has a degree of electric resistance anisotropy (?1/?2) of 2 or more. The first electric resistivity (?1) is measured in an axial direction and a second electric resistivity (?2) is measured in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction. The bonded magnet is, for example, a compression-molded bonded magnet that contains 93% to 98.5% of the magnet particles, and the first electric resistivity is 300 ??m or more. When the compression-molded bonded magnet whose compression direction is arranged along the axial direction is used as a field source, the eddy current loss occurring in the compression-molded bonded magnet can be efficiently reduced.

  • Publication number: 20150193028
Abstract: A display device includes a display unit, a pen position acquiring unit that acquires a contact position of the electronic pen on the display unit, or a proximity position of the electronic pen on the display unit, a display controller that displays on the display unit a trace of contact positions, a touch sensing unit that senses a touch position on the display unit, and a controller that sets the acquired proximity position of the electronic pen as a reference position. In a case where the touch sensing unit senses the touch position, the controller performs a process of erasing a display presented by input with a pen, when the sensed touch position is within a predetermined range from the reference position, and executes a process different from the process of erasing a display, when the sensed touch position is outside the predetermined range.

  • Publication number: 20140210748
Abstract: An information processing apparatus 10a according to the present disclosure includes: a touchscreen panel 14 on which video is displayed and which accepts an operation that has been performed by a user; a detector 21 which detects the operation that has been performed by the user on the touchscreen panel 14; and a processor 20 which performs processing in response to the operation. If the user has performed the operation using a polyhedron input interface device 10b which has a plurality of sides in mutually different shapes, the detector 21 detects the shape of an area in which the input interface device 10b is in contact with the touchscreen panel to determine which side of the polyhedron has been used to perform the operation, and the processor 20 carries out processing that is associated with the side that has been used.
