Patent number: 6840448Abstract: When an IC card module is used for a small portable information apparatus such as a portable telephone terminal, the module has a size much smaller than an ordinary IC card from the viewpoint that the apparatus is required to be small in size and weight. In the case of a small non-contact type card, there are problems that an antenna coil cannot secure its necessary surface area, a necessary power cannot be obtained for a signal to be transmitted or received, a communication distance from an external device becomes small. When the signal is transmitted and received via a booster coil provided between the external device and the antenna coil of the IC card module, the effective surface area of the antenna coil can be increased and the communication distance can be increased to a level as large as it can practically avoid involvement of any problem.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2003Date of Patent: January 11, 2005Assignees: Hitachi, Ltd., Hitachi Maxell, Ltd.Inventors: Shinichiro Fukushima, Yutaka Takami, Atsushi Yoshioka, Isao Nakagawa, Shuzo Matsumoto, Kiyoharu Kishimoto

Publication number: 20040089049Abstract: A reverse input blocking clutch comprises, as main elements, an input member, an output member, a stationary member for constraining the revolutions, locking means, lock release means and torque transmission means. By forming the input member, the output member, the stationary member and a fixed side plate from metal plates such as press worked steel plates, a compact, lightweight and low cost reverse input blocking clutch is provided. Reverse input torque from the output member is locked in both the forward and reverse rotational directions relative to the stationary member, by rollers which function as the locking means. Input torque from the input member in both the forward and reverse rotational directions is transmitted to the output member via apertures 1d and protrusions which function as the torque transmission means.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 10, 2003Publication date: May 13, 2004Applicant: NTN CorporationInventors: Masahiro Kurita, Atsushi Yoshioka, Masahiro Kawai

Publication number: 20030086695Abstract: According to a video information outputting apparatus, a video information receiving apparatus, a video information outputting method and a video information transmitting method, for receiving and outputting digital video information. The digital information is outputted in the same quality as it is, when it is certificated that an external apparatus operates according to a copy control information, while no information limited on copying thereof is outputted when it is not. It thereby prevents the information, which is outputted from the video information outputting apparatus to an external apparatus, from being used in other purposes than the original object thereof, thereby giving disadvantages onto the producer and/or copyright owner of the information.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 14, 2002Publication date: May 8, 2003Applicant: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Hiroo Okamoto, Nobuaki Kabuto, Hitaoki Owashi, Atsushi Yoshioka

Publication number: 20020114462Abstract: In transmission of stream data protected for copyright on a bus, transcription of stream data once recorded on a recording apparatus to a medium of another recording apparatus is realized. Authentication is carried out between a stream recording and playback apparatus and another recording apparatus to interchange a key for data scramble. By using this key, data is added with copy control information used when the data is recorded initially and thereafter the data is transmitted. After the data has been recorded on the recording apparatus, the data is deleted from an original recording medium. During transmission of the data, authentication from a different apparatus is rejected to prevent a plurality of copies from being made.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 10, 2001Publication date: August 22, 2002Applicant: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Yoshimichi Kudo, Hitoaki Owashi, Atsushi Yoshioka, Hiroo Okamoto

Patent number: 6422502Abstract: A winding unit is provided in which one-way clutches for driving and braking are mounted in the inner surface of the reel and a web such as a cover tape 39 is wound by intermittently rotating the reel. Tension acting on the web can be released during replacement of the reel. A spring type torque limiter 18 is disposed between the reel boss 25 and outer rings 12, 12′ of the one-way clutches 9, 11 for driving and braking. The torque limiter 18 is arranged such that, during rotation in the winding direction, a coil spring 27 locks to transmit torque, and when the reel is forcibly turned in the unwinding direction, slip occurs, thus releasing the tension in the web.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 2001Date of Patent: July 23, 2002Assignee: NTN CorporationInventors: Seiichi Takada, Atsushi Yoshioka

Patent number: 6203598Abstract: This invention relates to a flue gas treating process including a heat recovery step for recovering heat from flue gas by means of a heat exchanger (4) and thereby cooling the flue gas, and a subsequent absorption step for bringing the flue gas into gas-liquid contact with an absorbing fluid (D) in absorption towers (12, 13) so as to remove at least SO2 present in the flue gas by absorption into the absorbing fluid (D), which is characterized, for example, in that a powder addition step for spraying a powder collectable in the absorption step into the flue gas is provided prior to the heat recovery step. This invention makes it possible to provide a flue gas treating process in which a countermeasure against SO3 present in flue gas can be easily achieved without resorting to ammonia injection and the flue gas can further be purified without the disadvantage of causing the injected substance to remain in the treated flue gas.Type: GrantFiled: February 8, 1999Date of Patent: March 20, 2001Assignee: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Shigeo Hasegawa, Naohiko Ukawa, Susumu Okino, Koichiro Iwashita, Kazuaki Kimura, Atsushi Yoshioka, Yoshimitsu Kawanishi, Shoichi Onishi, Toru Takashina, Toyoshi Nakagawa
