According to systems and methods described, effects of a simple access authentication manner and shorter access delay are achieved.

Abstract: A terminal power-saving method, a terminal power-saving device, and a network-side power-saving device are disclosed. The terminal power-saving device includes a power-saving parameter receiving module and a power-saving execution module. The power-saving parameter receiving module is configured to receive an idle-mode power-saving parameter from a network side, and the power-saving execution module is configured to execute a power-saving operation according to the idle-mode power-saving parameter after the terminal enters an idle mode. When a terminal accessing a 3GPP network has a power-saving requirement, the terminal can perform more optimal power-saving control through a long DRX parameter in a connection mode, and in an idle mode the terminal can receive paging message in an active window time interval and close a wireless transceiver system in a dormant time interval, thereby greatly reducing the power consumption of the terminal, and achieving the purpose of power-saving.

Abstract: Disclosed are a charging method and system for Machine-Type Communication (MTC), and a message processing entity. After receiving an MTC service request message or an MTC service requesting Short Message (SM), a message processing entity generates a charging request including MTC service type information, and sends the charging request to an online charging subsystem/offline charging subsystem; and after receiving the charging request, the online charging subsystem/offline charging subsystem performs a charging operation using a charging method corresponding to the MTC service type information, and returns a charging response to the message processing entity. With the disclosure, charging for different MTC services can be implemented, such that charging is performed more accurately.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for implementing an access to a Machine to Machine (M2M) core network. In the method, a network element receives an access request message carrying equipment identity indication information, wherein the access request message is initiated by terminal equipment; the network element determines that the terminal equipment is M2M equipment according to the equipment identity indication information; and the network element selects a corresponding M2M core network for the terminal equipment to implement the access of the terminal equipment. According to the technical solution provided by the present invention, the existing network can meet the M2M service requirement while providing services for existing Human to Human (H2H) equipment, without any need of enhancement and mass expansion.

The method comprises: an RAN acquires a radio resource using parameter of a terminal, wherein the radio resource using parameter of the terminal is used for indicating a frequency for receiving and sending data packets and/or a data packet transmission bandwidth when the terminal accesses network; the RAN adjusts a radio bearer resource occupied by the terminal according to the radio resource using parameter of the terminal, wherein an adjusted radio bearer resource is used by the terminal to transmit data. According to the disclosure, when a terminal accessing a 3GPP network frequently or occasionally send data packets, a network side optimizes to adjust the radio resource according to the acquired radio resource using parameter of the terminal. On the premise that user experience is not reduced, the network resource is optimized, achieving better network optimization and power saving effects.
