Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for implementing an access to a Machine to Machine (M2M) core network. In the method, a network element receives an access request message carrying equipment identity indication information, wherein the access request message is initiated by terminal equipment; the network element determines that the terminal equipment is M2M equipment according to the equipment identity indication information; and the network element selects a corresponding M2M core network for the terminal equipment to implement the access of the terminal equipment. According to the technical solution provided by the present invention, the existing network can meet the M2M service requirement while providing services for existing Human to Human (H2H) equipment, without any need of enhancement and mass expansion.

Abstract: A bearer allocation method, a User Equipment (UE), a base station, and a serving gateway are disclosed. The bearer allocation method includes: when a network entity creates a bearer for a UE, determining that the bearer has a bearer retain characteristic, and marking a bearer retain flag in bearer context information; and when the UE enters an IDLE state, an evolved base station and an SGW to which the UE belongs reserving the bearer context information marked with the bearer retain flag.

Abstract: A method and device for adjusting radio resource are provided. The method comprises: an RAN acquires a radio resource using parameter of a terminal, wherein the radio resource using parameter of the terminal is used for indicating a frequency for receiving and sending data packets and/or a data packet transmission bandwidth when the terminal accesses network; the RAN adjusts a radio bearer resource occupied by the terminal according to the radio resource using parameter of the terminal, wherein an adjusted radio bearer resource is used by the terminal to transmit data. According to the disclosure, when a terminal accessing a 3GPP network frequently or occasionally send data packets, a network side optimizes to adjust the radio resource according to the acquired radio resource using parameter of the terminal. On the premise that user experience is not reduced, the network resource is optimized, achieving better network optimization and power saving effects.

Abstract: Disclosed in the present invention are a Machine Type Communication event reporting method, device and system. The method includes: a mobility management network element acquires identifier information of an MTC server corresponding to an MTC device from a user subscription server; the mobility management network element sends the identifier information to an MTC event reporting entity; and the MTC event reporting entity reports an MTC event of the MTC device to the MTC server corresponding to the identifier information. By way of the present invention, the MTC event report can be sent to a correct MTC server, so that the MTC server can effectively monitor the MTC device.

Abstract: A method, a mobility management unit and a gateway unit for restricting access and communication of a machine type communication (MTC) device are provided by the present invention. The method includes: a mobility management unit judging whether an access request or a service request of the MTC device is currently in a permission period according to the permission period of the MTC device; when the access request or the service request is not in the permission period, rejecting the access request or service request of the MTC device and notifying the MTC device of the rejection cause and/or the permission period at a meantime. The present invention can ensure that the MTC device only communicates in the permission period, and the MTC device is restricted to access the network or communicate in the non-permission period according to the requirement of the operator.

Abstract: A method and a system for acquiring information of Machine Type Communication (MTC) user equipment (UE) are provided. The method comprises the steps of: an MTC GateWay (MTC GW) acquiring the information of the MTC UE which currently requests to attach to a network or has attached to a network from a mobility management network element; the MTC GW sending the information of the MTC UE acquired from the mobility management network element to an MTC Server. The method and the system can control the MTC UE in real time and intelligently.

Abstract: A terminal power-saving method, a terminal power-saving device, and a network-side power-saving device are disclosed. The terminal power-saving device includes a power-saving parameter receiving module and a power-saving execution module. The power-saving parameter receiving module is configured to receive an idle-mode power-saving parameter from a network side, and the power-saving execution module is configured to execute a power-saving operation according to the idle-mode power-saving parameter after the terminal enters an idle mode. When a terminal accessing a 3GPP network has a power-saving requirement, the terminal can perform more optimal power-saving control through a long DRX parameter in a connection mode, and in an idle mode the terminal can receive paging message in an active window time interval and close a wireless transceiver system in a dormant time interval, thereby greatly reducing the power consumption of the terminal, and achieving the purpose of power-saving.

Abstract: Disclosed are a charging method and system for Machine-Type Communication (MTC), and a message processing entity. After receiving an MTC service request message or an MTC service requesting Short Message (SM), a message processing entity generates a charging request including MTC service type information, and sends the charging request to an online charging subsystem/offline charging subsystem; and after receiving the charging request, the online charging subsystem/offline charging subsystem performs a charging operation using a charging method corresponding to the MTC service type information, and returns a charging response to the message processing entity. With the disclosure, charging for different MTC services can be implemented, such that charging is performed more accurately.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method, a device, and a system for realizing a registration mechanism of an IP multimedia subsystem. In the above method, a S-CSCF obtains a private user identity and a public user identity of CS UE and characteristic information of a MSC Server from a received request message, wherein the request message includes a registration request or a de-registration request; and then matches the obtained private user identity, public user identity, and characteristic information with existing registration binding relationships. If the match is successful, an operation indicated by said request message is performed on the successfully matched registration binding relationship. Based on the solution proposed in the present invention, the logic of the registration service can be ensured to be normal.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for processing validity time in trigger information, including: a machine type communication (MTC) server sending the trigger information including the validity time (VT) to a network edge entity; the network edge entity setting a validity period (VP) of the trigger information in a short message service (SMS) according to the VT in a received trigger information; and forwarding the trigger information to a user equipment through a network node in the VP; the present invention further discloses a system for processing validity time in trigger information at the same time. Through the scheme of the present invention, the problem of how the validity time in the trigger information is set in the SMS and how to process in the network node that the SMS passes can be solved.

The method includes: configuring an access priority to a machine type communications device; a network side configuring a corresponding access control parameter for an access priority needing an access control according to the current network load information, and sending the access priority needing the access control and the access control parameter to the machine type communications device; and according to an access priority of the machine type communications device and the received the access priority needing the access control and the access control parameter, the machine type communications device judging whether an access request can be initiated. Abstract: The disclosure discloses a method and system for controlling access to a shared network. In both the method and the system, a core network node may send an overload indicator capable of distinguishing PLMNs to an access network node when the core network node is overloaded; and the access network node may learn a PLMN over which access control needs to be performed according to the overload indicator received. The method and the system of the disclosure distinguish the PLMNs in performing access control according to an actual situation of overload of the network node caused by a PLMN sharing the network, ensuring the fairness in performing access control over terminals of all PLMNs sharing the network. Therefore, the problem of unfairness in performing access control over terminals of different PLMNs in a network sharing scenario is solved.
