  • Patent number: 6505246
Abstract: A system for presenting performance and system management data on a computer monitor. The system comprises a network, one or more presentation views, a data server, and a controller. The network interconnects a plurality of computer systems. The presentation views are defined in a memory of one of the computer systems in the network, receive commands for collecting selected performance data on the presentation view's associated computer system, and collect and present the selected performance data. The data server is executed by one of the computer systems in the network, generates requests for the selected performance data, and stores the collected selected performance data returned in response to the requests.

  • Patent number: 4046962
Abstract: This invention pertains to systems servicing coin operated telephones and, more specifically, to apparatus in such systems for detecting when called parties fraudulently generate coin deposit tones to simulate the coin deposit tones which should be received from a calling coin station. During intermediate coin deposit intervals, the network connection between the calling and called stations is split. A first coin tone detector is connected to the calling station portion while a second coin tone detector is connected to the called station portion. Logic is responsive to the detection of coin tones by these detectors for indicating whether a detected coin tone is valid or fraudulent.

  • Patent number: 4035208
Abstract: The disclosure relates to patterning of platinum effectively and then removing the mask from the platinum without attacking the chromium metal beneath the platinum. If tantalum is used on top, which metal can be patterned with CF.sub.4, the tantalum can be patterned and the platinum can then be patterned quite readily and the tantalum can then be removed with the CF.sub.4 again and then the gold can be plated up onto the platinum patterns and the chromium can then be etched out using conventional chromium etch which will not attack any of the other metals. This solves the problem of high yield patterning with a metal mask and process for patterning and removal of that metal mask that is compatible with the chromium-platinum metal system. The advantage of the chromium-platinum system over the titanium-platinum system is the resistance of the chromium to silicon etch. Therefore, the principal application of this invention would be in the fabrication of mesa devices.
