Abstract: A high heel shoe galosh is provided having a galosh upper that extends to a galosh sole. The galosh upper defines a galosh upper shoe opening for receiving a high heel shoe. The galosh upper may be made of rubber so that the shoe opening can be expanded to allow the high heel shoe to pass through galosh upper shoe opening. The galosh sole galosh defines a heel opening that is sized such that the high heel of a high heel shoe can pass through the shoe opening. The galosh sole may be embodied with a gripping surface to enhance traction. In another embodiment there is an extended high heel shoe galosh that has a heel extension portion that extends from the galosh sole. The heel extension portion protects the high heel from the surrounding environment.
