  • Patent number: 11926716
Abstract: The present invention provides multifunctional particulates that release one or more functional compounds in response to environmental triggers and whose external surface modification imparts secondary functionalities to a selected coating composition. For example, disclosed are hydrophobic particles having a smart release mechanism for anticorrosion compounds that release the anticorrosion compounds upon exposure to the local pH changes induced by corrosion processes. Formulations are disclosed for multifunctional smart particles having antimicrobial effects and protections as well.

  • Patent number: 11921609
Abstract: Systems and methods for data anomaly detection include recommending one or more algorithms from a set of algorithms to process received time series data, wherein the one or more algorithms are recommended based at least in part on a type of workload for processing the received time series data. Assisted parameter tuning is provided for a detected anomaly alert and calibration, and the received time series data is processed based on a user selected algorithm that is parameter tuned.

  • Publication number: 20230280049
Abstract: A liquid desiccant regenerator configured to produce a first output stream with a higher concentration of a liquid desiccant than a first input stream. The regenerator also produces a second output stream with a lower concentration of the liquid desiccant than a second input stream. Regeneration of the liquid desiccant in the liquid desiccant regenerator decreases a temperature of the liquid desiccant regenerator. The system includes an air contactor coupled to the first output stream and exposing an input air stream to the first output stream. The first output stream absorbs water from the input air stream to form at least one diluted output desiccant stream. A heat pump of the system is thermally coupled to move the heat from the first output stream to the liquid desiccant regenerator. The heat moved to the liquid desiccant regenerator increases an efficiency of the liquid desiccant regenerator.

  • Publication number: 20150293603
Abstract: A single hand keyboard is disclosed. The single hand keyboard comprises on a left side a plurality of keys representing one half of a typing keyboard wherein each key is a pair of characters representing the normal and function keys of a full keyboard layout, one of the characters being normally associated with the key in a typing keyboard and the other character being associated with an opposite key of the other half of the typing keyboard by overlapping and combining the characters for each key. One or more toggle keys are provided for switching between the pair of characters indicated on each key of the keyboard wherein said switching is indicated by one or more LEDs. The right side of the single hand keyboard comprises the standard grouping of special, lock and direction keys including a standard numeric keypad.

  • Patent number: 6103153
Abstract: Compositions and processing conditions are disclosed for the production by rotomolding of polypropylene foams, hither to satisfactorily produced only by injection molding and extrusion molding. Rheological properties of the polypropylene resin, processing conditions and choice of composition of the chemical blowing agent were found to play important roles in obtaining high quality polypropylene foam structures. High strength fine-cell polypropylene foams could in particular be formed by first melt compounding a suitable chemical blowing agent with the resin under conditions which allow for homogeneous mixing without appreciable decomposition of the blowing agent.
