  • Publication number: 20210284198
Abstract: Provided is a path adaptation system and method for a self-driving vehicle, and a self-driving vehicle including path adaptation technology. The method includes providing a vehicle navigation path through an environment; determining a location of the vehicle relative to the path; generating one or more polygons representing a shape of the vehicle projected from the vehicle location in a vehicle travel direction long the path; combining the one or more projections into a projected motion polygon; acquiring object information representing an object shape from one or more sensors; and determining if the object shape overlaps the projected motion polygon. If so, the method includes adjusting the vehicle navigation. If not, the method includes, continuing navigation along the path. The path adaptation system includes one or more processors configured to execute the path adaptation method.

  • Patent number: 10911386
Abstract: A method for facilitating document review includes determining an ordered relationship among electronic communication documents in a conversation thread group. The ordered relationship specifies a time sequence of documents in each of one or more conversation threads within the thread group. Each conversation thread begins with the same root document and ends with a different end document. The method also includes causing a visualization of the thread group to be presented to a user via a GUI. The visualization includes graphic elements corresponding to different electronic communication documents, and each element is at a respective position along first and second axes of the visualization in accordance with the ordered relationship. The first axis is indicative of how many electronic communications were sent, within a given conversation thread, after the root document was sent, and the second axis is generally indicative of how many conversation threads are in the thread group.

  • Publication number: 20200341307
Abstract: An AMLCD sub-pixel electrical connection array integrating dual redundancy of its entire active area is provided in some implementations. Some implementations include integration of independent sets of ICs that drive the primary and the secondary TFTs for each pixel with a shared liquid crystal fluid. The AMLCD structure can include independent electrical conductors that are patterned similarly and aligned to reduce offset to prevent a significant optical loss due to the reduced aperture ratio caused by the redundant electrical circuit. Such assembly can also provide an AMLCD that is capable of resizing possibly without modification of the display panel design.

  • Patent number: 10545900
Abstract: In various embodiments, methods and systems are provide for detecting a physical configuration of a device based on sensor data from one or more configuration sensors. The physical configuration includes a position of a first display region of the device with respect to a second display region of the device, where the position is physically adjustable. A configuration profile is selected from a plurality of configuration profiles based on the detected physical configuration of the device. Each configuration profile is a representation of at least one respective physical configuration of the device. An interaction mode corresponding to the selected configuration profile is activated, where the interaction mode includes a set of mode input/output (I/O) features available while the interaction mode is active. Device interfaces of the device are managed using at least some mode I/O features in the set of mode I/O features based on the activating of the interaction mode.
