Patent number: 5330050Abstract: A palletized merchandising system comprises a pallet, a plurality of like containers stacked in layers on the pallet and a divider sheet interposed between the layers of like containers. The like containers comprise a unitary blow molded body of a generally parallelepiped shape. The like containers have a top face, bottom face, a front face and side walls and a diagonally extending parting line. A pour spout in the top face is spaced along the parting line towards one corner of the top face. A handle on the top face extends upwardly from the top face and is spaced along the parting line. A recess in the bottom face extends upwardly therefrom and is spaced along the parting line. The recess is sized to receive a handle of a like container in a stacking relation. The divider sheets have a plurality of apertures adapted to receive the handles of the like containers and to orient the front face of the like containers when an upper layer of like containers is stacked over a lower layer of like containers.Type: GrantFiled: November 12, 1993Date of Patent: July 19, 1994Assignee: Cornos CorporationInventors: Benjamin H. Patent number: 5316398Abstract: In combination, a molded bottle and a stick dispenser wherein the bottle comprises front and rear faces and side edges. One of the side edges has a cavity for nesting the stick dispenser. The stick dispenser has end surfaces and the cavity has end surfaces. Each of the end surfaces of the stick dispenser has a recess and each of the ends of the cavity has a domed surface. The domed surfaces are sized and spaced to receive each of the recesses of the stick dispenser in a snap fit.Type: GrantFiled: March 4, 1993Date of Patent: May 31, 1994Assignee: Conros CorporationInventors: Kapoor Chandaria, Benjamin H. Patent number: 5259083Abstract: A power driven mechanical toothbrush is disclosed. A replaceable toothbrush head member has tuft blocks retained generally therewithin and extending laterally outwardly from the a cam shaft. Each tuft block has at least one tuft of bristles, usually four, secured within the tuft block and extending upwardly therefrom. Each of the bristles has a distal end at a distance from its tuft block, and the bristles in each tuft are generally parallel to each other. The toothbrush head member is adapted to receive and retain the tuft blocks in sliding relation therein, so that each tuft block slides linearly in a direction parallel to the longitudinal tuft axis as guided by guide rails within the head member, between a retracted position and an extended position. Each tuft block is driven from its retracted position to its extended position by the rotatable cam shaft.Type: GrantFiled: September 24, 1992Date of Patent: November 9, 1993Assignee: 1008335 Ontario Inc.Inventor: Benjamin H. Stansbury, Jr.

Patent number: 5100055Abstract: A spray valve is disclosed for controlling and directing the flow of a fluid. The spray valve includes an integral trigger/waterway, that is movable between an open and a closed position, and a non-movable fluid seal that plugs the end of the waterway to prevent the flow of fluid. A spring normally biases the trigger to the closed position. The force needed to activate the trigger is substantially independent of the water pressure flow and is defined almost exclusively by the force needed to compress the spring. The spray valve assembly is held together by an integral snap-fit construction, eliminating the need for fasteners such as screws, pins, or the like. The spray valve includes a spray cap that provides a variety of spray patterns. At least one of the bores in the spray cap which is used to produce a coarse spray is also used to produce a mist, so that a conventional bore having a relatively small diameter for producing a mist is not required and the likelihood of clogging is reduced.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 1989Date of Patent: March 31, 1992Assignee: Modern Faucet Mfg. Co.Inventors: Walter Rokitenetz, deceased, Benjamin H. Stansbury, Jr.

Patent number: 4692051Abstract: An adapter consists of a more or less cylindrical body having a rear outer portion and a front inner portion, projections (or other suitable coupling means) on the rear outer portion for effecting the coupling to an automatic adjusting device, and at least three different recessed configurations located at different depths within the body's front inner portion for mating respectively to at least the three most common types of residential thermostat knobs. The most recessed configuration receives the smallest such knob, which is of the "lever" type. The middle configuration is a circular ring of inwardly projecting teeth for engaging the intermediate size "serrated" type of knob. The least recessed configuration is of an internal bevelled shape for receiving the largest such knob, namely the "bevel" knob. These various recessed configurations are so located and dimensioned with respect to the body of the adaptor to allow each type of knob to reach and mate with its corresponding recessed configuration.Type: GrantFiled: December 6, 1982Date of Patent: September 8, 1987Inventors: Benjamin H. Patent number: 4535931Abstract: Water temperature sensors in the form of thermisters are in physical thermal contact with the inlet and outlet pipes of a water heater and may be surrounded by insulating material to make them more insensitive to the ambient air temperature and more sensitive to the temperature of the respective water pipes and the water contained therein. These two thermisters are connected in a bridge circuit connected to an operational amplifier whose output will be of a given polarity only if the measured temperature difference exceeds a predetermined value. The operational amplifier's output is then used to adjust the effective thermostatic setting of the hot water heater in a two-valued control arrangement.Type: GrantFiled: September 14, 1983Date of Patent: August 20, 1985Assignee: Kenneth W.
