  • Patent number: 12014052
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an interconnect architecture that enables communications and/or data transmissions among data storage drives in a computing system. The flash translation layer (FTL) in each data storage drive may be operated in a cooperative manner that allows communications and/or data transmissions across memory arrays from each of the data storage drives implemented in the computing system. The direct communications and/or data transmissions among the data storage drives in the computing system may be enabled without deferring back to a host computing device in the computing system. Thus, the computational load to the host computing device is reduced and the flexibility of scaling up the storage appliance in the computing system is increased.

  • Patent number: 12011532
Abstract: A negative pressure wound therapy system can include a negative pressure source configured to provide, via a fluid flow path, negative pressure to a wound covered by a wound dressing. The system can include a controller. The controller can be configured to periodically activate the negative pressure source to maintain negative pressure in the fluid flow path between a low negative pressure setpoint and a high negative pressure setpoint. The controller can be configured to determine a change in a volume of the wound based on a difference between a first time and a second time at which the high negative pressure setpoint has been established in the fluid flow path, the second time being subsequent to the first time. The controller can be configured to provide indication of the change in the volume of the wound.

  • Publication number: 20240191594
Abstract: A method of deploying an expandable composition in a cement top job in a well system includes identifying evidence of actual or potential gas migration within an annulus cement of the well system. Once the evidence of gas migration is identified, a first component and a second component are mixed in a mixer to form the expandable composition and the expandable composition is pumped from the mixer through a conduit to a top of cement of the annulus cement. The expandable composition expands to form an expanded composition that seals the annulus above the top of cement of the annulus cement. Cement can be added onto the expanded composition.

  • Publication number: 20240162936
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for communicating between dice of an inductively-coupled 3D integrated circuit (3D-IC). A transmit resonant circuit at a transmit die is inductively coupled to a first receive resonant circuit at a first receive die, and to a second receive resonant circuit at a second receive die. The resonant circuit at the targeted receive die is tuned to the frequency of resonance of the transmit resonant circuit, while the resonant circuit at the untargeted receive die is detuned, resulting in lower power consumption for a given bit error rate at the targeted die.

  • Publication number: 20240152657
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed to combining an information technology services management (ITSM) controller with one or more processing units into a single integrated circuit via chiplets. An ITSM chiplet can connect to one or more processing unit chiplets via one or more respective die-to-die (D2D) interconnects that physically isolate the ITSM chiplet from the processing unit chiplet. Including the ITSM chiplet with the processing unit chiplets in an integrated circuit can save cost, increase reliability, and reduce assembly time.
