  • Patent number: 11167931
Abstract: A screw conveyor is provided for lifting a sludge from a collection point. The conveyor includes a lower bearing assembly having a post with a thrust bearing attached to the top, which can be inserted in a socket in the shaft component of the screw. The base of the post is attached to a plate, and the plate can be bolted to the intake end of the tube component of the conveyor. The inner bearing assembly and the intake end of the shaft of the screw are contained within the interior of the tube, such that a seal between the shaft and the plate, which serves as an end cap of the tube, is not required. In an alternative embodiment of the invention, the relative positions of the post and socket can be reversed, with the socket attached to the plate to the intake end of the tube, and the post attached to the shaft component of the screw.

  • Patent number: 6935327
Abstract: A handle and light assembly for use on a barbecue grill. The assembly is inclusive of handle and at least one source of illumination for illuminating a cooking surface inside a hollow cooking chamber of the barbecue grill. The handle may function both as a means for opening a lid to access the cooking surface and also as a compartment for retaining the energy used to power the source of illumination. The lid includes at least one channel for the appropriate wiring to extend from the energy compartment to the illumination source. Accordingly, the handle may be located on the outside of the grill lid, and the source of illumination may be located inside the hollow cooking chamber.

  • Patent number: 6590386
Abstract: A universal electronics system has a body adapted to be removably mounted at the muzzle end of the barrel of almost any paintball marker. A pair of spaced detector units signal the time it takes for a paintball to pass through a portion of the body. A muzzle velocity calculating device converts the detector signals to a muzzle velocity, which is displayed on a display screen. The universal electronics system may further comprise a ball counter, a player counter, a clock, a chronometer that records elapsed time, a timer for recording time remaining in a game, and a thermometer. All of the data can be displayed on the display screen.
