    Abstract: Systems and methods permit generation of a digital scan of a user's face such as for obtaining of a patient respiratory mask, or component(s) thereof, based on the digital scan. The method may include: receiving video data comprising a plurality of video frames of the user's face taken from a plurality of angles relative to the user's face, generating a three-dimensional representation of a surface of the user's face based on the plurality of video frames, receiving scale estimation data associated with the received video data, the scale estimation data indicative of a relative size of the user's face, and scaling the digital three-dimensional representation of the user's face based on the scale estimation data. In some aspects, the scale estimation data may be derived from motion information collected by the same device that collects the scan of the user's face.

    Abstract: In exemplary implementations, a target rod is actuated. The target rod is part of a set of threaded, elongated rods, the longitudinal axes of which are substantially parallel to each other. The set of rods has an interior region and a perimeter region. Actuators induce vibrations in a set of perimeter rods. These vibrations are substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axes. Furthermore, the vibrations are transmitted to interior rods, causing a target rod in the interior region to rotate about, and translate along, the longitudinal axis of the target rod. The target rod undergoes stick-slip motion relative to adjacent rods.

    Abstract: A method for determining hydraulic compliance of a wellbore during a managed pressure drilling procedure. Measurements are made of the pressure of a drilling fluid being circulated in the wellbore during the procedure at the top of a drilling annulus, the flow rate qin of the drilling fluid into the wellbore and the flow rate qout of the fluid out of the wellbore. These three measurements are used to determine the difference of the flow rates and a discrete time derivative (Pt?Pt-?t)/?t of the pressure, where t is time and ?t is a time interval. The differences in flow rates and the time derivatives are then processed by applying a low pass filter to determine the hydraulic compliance of the wellbore.
