  • Patent number: 10723596
Abstract: A modular crane, with a pot-shaped element on which an upper carriage of the crane can be mounted such that it can rotate about a rotational axis, multiple support carriers hinged to the pot-shaped element such that they can each pivot about a pivot axis for support on the ground, and a separable driving base on which the pot-shaped element can be secured.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 19, 2016
Date of Patent: July 28, 2020
    Assignee: Terex Global GmbH
Inventors: Benjamin Schaal, Klaus Meissner, Rüdiger Zollondz
  • Patent number: 10494237
Abstract: A crane includes an under carriage, an upper carriage, a rotary connection, by means of which the upper carriage is connected with the under carriage to rotate around an axis of rotation, a jib to be connected with the crane and erected around a jib axis, and a device connecting the upper carriage with the under carriage with at least one force-transmitting element. The at least one force-transmitting element is designed passively in such a way that it transmits forces between the upper carriage and the under carriage when a pre-determined load condition of the rotary connection is reached.

  • Patent number: 9950913
Abstract: A crane comprises an undercarriage, an upper carriage arranged on the undercarriage, a rotary connection for rotatably mounting the upper carriage on the undercarriage about an axis of rotation, as well as a support unit attached to the upper carriage for increasing the distance of a tilting edge from the axis of rotation, so that the crane has an increased structural stability and an increased load capacity.

  • Publication number: 20180050891
Abstract: An undercarriage for a vehicle crane includes multiple supports that are pivotably articulated on the chassis between a working arrangement and a transport arrangement, and includes a rotary joint component for the rotatable connection of a superstructure to the undercarriage, with the rotary joint component determining a transport height of the undercarriage, which completely uses a maximum admissible transport height.

  • Patent number: 8857904
Abstract: A head-rest of a vehicle seat with a deformable central supporting body which forms an impact zone for the head of a vehicle occupant and into which the kinetic energy of the head in the event of an accident is admitted. On both sides of the impact zone the central supporting bodies are joined by lateral supporting surfaces which are extendable out of the plane of the head-rest in the direction of travel in order to laterally support the head. In order to avoid or at least to reduce the risk of a cervical-spine whiplash injury, it is proposed according to the invention that the head-rest comprises a device for absorbing the energy admitted into the central supporting body and for outputting the absorbed energy in order to activate lateral supporting surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20130330178
Abstract: In a turbine of an exhaust gas turbocharger an insert element which is provided for insertion into a turbine housing has a spiral port which extends in the circumferential direction of the insert element over at least part of the circumference thereof and by which the exhaust gas flow through the turbine is controlled. The insert element is open in the axial direction on at least at one end face thereof which end face is biased in sealing contact with the turbine housing. The insert element has a central axial opening with a spiral port for accommodating a turbine wheel.
