  • Publication number: 20190021843
Abstract: A stent-graft includes a graft material having a main body, a first leg, a second leg, and a transition region where the first leg and the second leg meet the main body. A main body transition stent is coupled to the main body. A transition stent support including a gusset is coupled to the graft material such that a transition apex of the main body transition stent is interposed between the gusset and the graft material, the transition apex being aligned with the transition region. The transition apex, which is susceptible to failure, is stabilized by the gusset in combination with a supporting ligament. The gusset and supporting ligament prevent flexing of the transition apex and the associated failure thereof.

  • Patent number: 9856955
Abstract: A generator belt drive of an internal combustion engine, having a generator arrangement with a generator (1) having a belt pulley (6) and a belt tensioner (2). The generator arrangement includes the following: —a first tensioning lever (8) with a first tensioning roller (4), —a second tensioning lever (9) with a second tensioning roller, these tensioning rollers being arranged in front of and behind the belt pulley in a circulating direction of the belt (3) and applying a pretensioning force onto the belt, —a spring (7) arranged between the tensioning levers and which moves the tensioning rollers towards each other, thereby generating the pretensioning force, —and a locking arrangement (11), by which the tensioning levers can be locked relative to each other in a position in which the tensioning rollers are moved away from each other, thereby reducing or canceling the pretensioning force.

  • Patent number: 9416853
Abstract: A clamping device (2) for a starter generator belt drive of an internal combustion engine. The clamping device includes a tensioner housing (8), a tensioning arm (17) mounted movably therein, and two idlers (6, 7), one of which is mounted to the tensioning arm and the other of which is mounted to the tensioner housing (8) in a stationary manner. A spring component which generates the pre-load force includes two helical compression springs (20a, 20b) connected in series, the facing spring ends (23a, 23b) of which are separated by an intermediate piece (24) mounted in the tensioner housing in a sliding manner. The tensioning arm has a pin projection (28), which extends through the helical compression springs running inside the tensioning arm and which is mounted in the intermediate piece in a sliding manner.

  • Patent number: 9314313
Abstract: Wrist, hand, or arm support devices are provided. The support devices include a support member having a top surface and a front surface. The top surface is oriented at either a parallel angle or a non-parallel angle with respect to a work surface. The front surface curves upon itself to form either a symmetric or an asymmetric arc. Preferred versions of the support devices described herein include at least one of a top surface oriented at a non-parallel angle with respect to the work surface or a front surface that curves upon itself to define an asymmetric arc. Mounting members for connecting the support member to an operating surface are also provided. The support devices described herein permit an operator to comfortably rest his or her hand on the support devices while directing procedures toward non-centered portions of work objects.

  • Publication number: 20080082573
Abstract: A dynamic data-modeling system and a content management framework combined into a high-level application development framework is disclosed. In one embodiment, the system for application development, comprises a data-modeling framework configured to enable a user to define a logical data model. The data-modeling framework dynamically translates the logical data model into a corresponding physical data model. The changes to the logical data model are automatically adjusted in the physical data model accordingly. A content management framework is coupled to the data-modeling framework. The content management framework is configured to provide tools to enable the user to manage content associated with the physical data model based on the logical data model.

  • Patent number: 6739332
Abstract: There are many lung diseases and conditions for which the preferred form of treatment involves delivering a medicament of the appropriate sort down the Patient's airways into the lungs themselves. The most effective treatments involve the inhalation as an aerosol of some suitable agent in normally inhaled air, and it will often be the case that it is best to deliver the agent as a “spike” or short pulse at some selected point within the Patient's breathing cycle. The present invention proposes treatment apparatus—specifically and in particular small (pocket-sized) hand-held apparatus—that utilises the “spike” principle.
