  • Patent number: 11823559
Abstract: A method and system provide for project a safe area during an emergency situation is provided. A server, using at least one electronic sensor, determines that an emergency situation is occurring in a building. The emergency situation can be an armed intruder, a natural disaster, a chemical spill or the like, etc. The server determines likely unsafe areas and at least one likely safe area within the building during the emergency situation. A projector, which can be incorporated into a camera or separate from a camera, projects visual guidance features within the building, the visual guidance features directing occupants in the building toward the likely safe area.

  • Publication number: 20220051167
Abstract: A device, system and method for electronically implementing corrective actions based on keep-separate attributes is provided. A keep-separate attribute associated with respective inmate profiles is generated using electronic data indicative of monitoring inmates. Schedule data, associated with the inmate profiles, which violates the keep-separate attribute within a given time period, is modified using the keep-separate attribute, to indicate a physical separation between the inmates. The keep-separate attribute and/or modification of the schedule data occurs via one or more machine-learning algorithms. The modified schedule data is store and/or a notification of the modified schedule data is transmitted, to one or more communication devices, to instruct one or more correctional officers to physically separate the inmates within the given time period.

  • Publication number: 20210027408
Abstract: A device, system and method for electronically implementing corrective actions based on keep-separate attributes is provided. A keep-separate attribute associated with a first inmate profile and a second inmate profile is identified, the keep-separate attribute violated by schedule data associated with the first inmate profile and the second inmate profile. A corrective action is implemented in accordance with the keep-separate attribute, the corrective action comprising one or more of: modifying, at the one or more memories, the schedule data in accordance with the keep-separate attribute; and transmitting a notification of the keep-separate attribute to one or more communication devices associated with implementing the schedule data.

  • Publication number: 20210004751
Abstract: Disclosed is a process for electronically monitoring officer context change and accumulating corresponding form completion times and providing a corresponding indication. A first context status change associated with an officer changing status is received. One or more corresponding particular information forms are identified via access to an electronically stored status to form mapping. A particular time required by the officer to complete the one or more particular information forms is determined via access to an electronically stored time completion indication associated with each of the one or more particular information forms. A total forms completion accumulation value is determined. The total form completion accumulation value particularly associated with the officer is provided to the officer and/or a dispatcher.

  • Patent number: 10608929
Abstract: A method of routing communications from a mobile device to a target device. A non-whispered speech target device routing list and a whispered speech target device routing list are stored at a memory that is accessible by the mobile device. The mobile device identifies speech characteristics associated with a speech input and further determines whether the speech input corresponds to a whispered speech based on the speech characteristics. When it is determined that the speech input corresponds to a whispered speech, the mobile device routes communications corresponding to the speech input to each target device included in the whispered speech target device routing list. When it is determined that the speech input does not correspond to a whispered speech, the mobile device either routes or refrains from routing communications corresponding to the speech input to each target device included in the non-whispered speech target device routing list.

  • Patent number: 10425776
Abstract: Method and device for responding to an audio inquiry. The electronic computing device monitors audio communications transmitted between communication devices that are members of a talk group on a talk group channel. The electronic computing device detects an audio inquiry from a first communication device and generates an audio content response to be provided in response to the audio inquiry. The electronic computing device determines based on one or both of the audio inquiry and the audio content response, and as a function of the context information, that the audio content response is to be individually provided to the first communication device. The electronic computing device then establishes a private call with the first communication device and provides the audio content response to the first communication device via the private call.

  • Patent number: 10354141
Abstract: Systems and methods for filtering objects of interest associated with an investigation. One method includes receiving a role identifier. The method includes retrieving metadata corresponding to the plurality of objects of interest. The method includes determining, with a classifier, a plurality of relationships between at least two of the objects of interest based on the metadata. The method includes identifying, based on the metadata, a subset of the plurality of relationships that are associated with the role identifier, the subset of the plurality of relationships including a subset of the plurality of objects of interest. The method includes generating a graphical representation including a first indication of the subset of the objects of interest and a second indication of the subset of the plurality of relationships. The method includes presenting the graphical representation on a display communicatively coupled to the electronic processor.

  • Publication number: 20190095069
Abstract: An adaptable interface for retrieving available electronic digital assistant services is provided. A user interface including a graphical underlay on which user input gestures may be operated is displayed via a display element. A particular user input gesture selecting a sub-portion of the graphical underlay is detected. The selected sub-portion of the graphical underlay, or metadata associated therewith, is provided to an electronic digital assistant services query identification function. Identities of one or more available electronic digital assistant services that may be performed on objects or information included in the selected sub-portion of the graphical underlay or metadata associated therewith are received. And one or more actionable user interface elements are displayed on, over, or adjacent to the graphical underlay corresponding to the received identities of the one or more available electronic digital assistant services.
