  • Publication number: 20190082304
Abstract: Method and device for responding to an audio inquiry. The electronic computing device monitors audio communications transmitted between communication devices that are members of a talk group on a talk group channel. The electronic computing device detects an audio inquiry from a first communication device and generates an audio content response to be provided in response to the audio inquiry. The electronic computing device determines based on one or both of the audio inquiry and the audio content response, and as a function of the context information, that the audio content response is to be individually provided to the first communication device. The electronic computing device then establishes a private call with the first communication device and provides the audio content response to the first communication device via the private call.

  • Publication number: 20190042849
Abstract: Systems and methods for filtering objects of interest associated with an investigation. One method includes receiving a role identifier. The method includes retrieving metadata corresponding to the plurality of objects of interest. The method includes determining, with a classifier, a plurality of relationships between at least two of the objects of interest based on the metadata. The method includes identifying, based on the metadata, a subset of the plurality of relationships that are associated with the role identifier, the subset of the plurality of relationships including a subset of the plurality of objects of interest. The method includes generating a graphical representation including a first indication of the subset of the objects of interest and a second indication of the subset of the plurality of relationships. The method includes presenting the graphical representation on a display communicatively coupled to the electronic processor.

  • Publication number: 20180350344
Abstract: An electronic digital assistant (EDA) detects a user's acoustical environment and substantively varys a content of a generated auditory output to the user as a function of the detected acoustical environment. The EDA receives an indication of an acoustic environment in which an auditory output will be provided to a user. The EDA then generates an auditory output having a substantive content that is varied as a function of the indicated acoustic environment. The EDA then provides the auditory output to an electronic output transducer associated with the user for reproduction to the user in the acoustic environment.

  • Patent number: 9465919
Abstract: A pill dispenser is disclosed that includes a housing defining an opening, a pill-dispensing mechanism disposed within the housing and operatively coupled to the opening, a receptacle operatively coupled to the housing, a first pill-viewing camera positioned to capture an image of the receptacle, an identifying camera positioned to capture an image of an area adjacent to the housing, at least one processor in operative communication with the pill-dispensing mechanism, the first pill-viewing camera, and the identifying camera, and a storage medium.

  • Patent number: 9400873
Abstract: A pill dispenser includes a housing, a pill-dispensing mechanism, a receptacle, a pill-viewing camera, an identifying camera, one or more processors, and a storage medium (e.g., a memory). The pill-dispensing mechanism is coupled to an opening of the housing. The first pill-viewing camera is positioned to capture an image of the receptacle, and the identifying camera is positioned to capture an image of an area adjacent to the housing. The one or more processors are in operative communication with the pill-dispensing mechanism, the pill-viewing camera, and the identifying camera. The storage medium stores processor-executable instructions for: instructing the pill-dispensing mechanism to dispense a pill; instructing the pill-viewing camera to capture a first image of the pill to determine a presence of the pill; instructing the pill-viewing camera to capture a second image to determine an absence of the pill; and instructing the identifying camera to capture a third image.
