    Abstract: The invention is a method of exploiting hydrocarbons within a sedimentary basin, by stratigraphic simulation coupled with a hydrologic model and a diagenetic model. A gridded representation of the basin, comprising at least a mineralogical composition and a porosity within each cell, is determined by means of a stratigraphic simulator for at least one time step. Then, at least one hydrologic zone is delimited using a hydrologic model, and at least one chemical composition of the fluids and a direction of circulation of the fluids are determined in each cell located in the zone. At least the chemical composition of the fluids, the mineralogical composition and the porosity are then updated in each cell of the gridded representation with a diagenetic model comprising a hydrologic flux balance, established using at least the directions of circulation of the fluids and from which a cell visiting order is determined for the fluids.

A combiner disposed on the windshield including a holographic optical element steers the first light beam toward the viewer as a third light beam to present the virtual image within the field of view of the viewer. Mirrors may direct and magnify first light beam onto the combiner. A method for displaying a virtual image superimposed over a field of view to a viewer using a head-up display device is also provided.

A cooling cell, having a second sheet of light transmissive material, extends in a flat plane parallel and spaced apart from the intermediate layer, defining a second compartment holding a cooling fluid to regulate the temperature of the liquid crystal. A second seal is disposed between the second sheet and the intermediate layer and enclosing the second compartment. Ports may extend into the second compartment, such as through the second seal, to allow the cooling fluid to be circulated out of the second compartment to carry heat away from the liquid crystal. Direct transfer of heat from the cooling cell is also provided, such as where the cooling cell extends beyond the display panel.
