Abstract: A method for controlling data transmission in a station in a wireless communication network is discussed. The method includes: receiving feedback information including error information including a signal to noise ratio (SNR) from a target station, the error information being measured by the target station; and controlling transmission parameters of the transmit data in a transmitting station based on the error information, wherein controlling the transmission parameters includes: increasing the transmit power when the SNR is lower than a predetermined value; initiating a beam-tracking process when the SNR is still lower than the predetermined value after increasing the transmit power; and decreasing a data transmission rate when the SNR is still lower than the predetermined value after initiating the beam-tracking process.

In the apparatus, a network interface transmits and receives data to and from the at least one multimedia device. A display displays a screen. A controller controls to display at least one place selection menu indicating a place in which the at least one multimedia device is located on the screen, display, upon selection of the at least one place selection menu, at least one player selection menu indicating a player located in the place, on the screen, and display at least one source selection menu indicating a source capable of outputting contents to the player on the screen, upon selection of the at least one player selection menu.

Abstract: A method for supporting a session routing in a High Definition Base transmission (HDBaseT) network, the method including receiving, by an HDbaseT device from a Routing Processor Entity (RPE) through the HDBaseT network, a Link Status Request message requesting Link status information; configuring a Link Status Notify message for supporting the session routing, the Link Status Notify message including Link status information; and transmitting the Link Status Notify message to the RPE through the HDbaseT network. The Link status information of the Link Status Notify message is used to update a Link Status table, the Link Status table is used to compute routing path information from a source device to a sink device in the HDbaseT network, the HDbaseT device provides a simultaneous transmission of multiple streams, a transmission of uncompressed data, and a power transmission through a single link, and the multiple streams are transmitted uncompressed.

Abstract: A method of channel assessment and channel searching in a wireless network is disclosed. The wireless network separately performs a channel assessment procedure and a channel searching procedure for channel change or another object. The channel assessment procedure is to measure a status or quality of a channel which is currently used in the wireless network. A coordinator of the wireless network designates a time interval for the channel assessment to notify other device of it. The channel assessment procedure may be performed periodically, and is preferably scheduled to allow other devices not to use the channel for the time interval which at least one device performs channel assessment.

Abstract: A method for transmitting data in a transmitting device of a wireless network comprises transmitting one or more data packets to a receiving device via a reserved region comprising channel resources allocated by a coordinator, and transmitting channel time extension information for requesting channel time extension to the receiving device, in order to transmit the data packets on an unreserved region in which the coordinator does not allocate channel resources to any devices.

Abstract: A method of controlling the power consumption of a wireless station is disclosed. The present invention includes waking-up a coordinator in a sleep state, entering an awake state and if a signal for turning on a peripheral station is received in the awake state, transmitting an awake message to the peripheral station via a beacon signal during a beacon timeslot. Accordingly, the power consumption of a coordinator in a WPAN network may be reduced, power control by a peripheral station may be facilitated, and inefficient operation and management of the network may be prevented.

According to embodiments of the present invention, stations of network search for compatible beams whenever necessary, whereby loads of energy management and operations of a main station can be reduced.
