Abstract: Imidazolylmethyloxiranes of the general formula I ##STR1## where R is phenyl, pyridyl, tetrahydropyranyl, norbornyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.12 -cycloalkyl or C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 -cycloalkenyl, these radicals being unsubstituted or substituted, and their plant-tolerated acid addition salts and metal complexes, and fungicides containing these compounds.

Abstract: Alpha,beta-substituted acroleins of the general formula I ##STR1## where A and B are identical or different and are each C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, naphthyl, biphenyl or phenyl which may be monosubstituted or polysubstituted by halogen, nitro, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -haloalkyl, phenoxy or phenylsulfonyl, are prepared by a process in which a compound of the general formula III ##STR2## where A has the above meanings and R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are identical or different and are each C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or together possess the carbon atoms required to complete a ring, is reacted with a phosphorus compound of the general formula IV or V ##STR3## where B the meanings stated above, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are as defined above and X.sup..crclbar. is a halide ion, in the presence of a base. The alpha,beta-substituted acroleins can be further processed to give hydroxymethyloxiranes.

Abstract: Vinylphenol derivatives of the formula I ##STR1## where A and R.sup.1 to R.sup.7 have the meanings stated in claim 1 and in the description, and their physiologically tolerated salts, drugs prepared from these, and their use for the treatment of various disorders of the skin, the mucous membranes and the internal organs, and of rheumatic disorders.

Abstract: Azolylmethylcycloalkanes of the formula I ##STR1## where A and B are identical or different and are each hydrogen, unsubstituted or halogen-substituted alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, naphthyl, hetaryl, biphenyl or phenyl, where the phenyl radical can be substituted by halogen, nitro, alkyl, alkoxy or haloalkyl, each of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, phenoxy or phenylsulfenyl, D and E are identical or different and are each hydrogen or halogen, Z is CH or N, m can be 1, 2, 3 or 4 and n can be 0, 1 or 2, their addition salts with acids and their metal complexes, and the preparation of these compounds, are described. The compounds are useful for treating disorders and for crop, wood and material protection.

Abstract: Viral diseases are treated by a method in which an effective amount of 1-(4-chlorophenyl)-1-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-2-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)ethan-1-ol (formula I) ##STR1## is administered enterally, parenterally or topically to a patient suffering therefrom.

Abstract: Azolylmethylcycloacetals of the formula I ##STR1## where R is phenyl which can be substituted by halogen, or is C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, R.sup.1 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkyl, Z is CH or N, and m is 0 or 1, and their physiologically tolerated addition salts with acids and their preparation are described.The novel substances have an antimycotic action.
