Abstract: A method and a proxy server for selecting an input server of an IMS communication network in order to register a terminal in the IMS communication network. Following receipt from the terminal of an SIP registration message, the proxy server obtains a value of at least one field of the SIP registration message, the field being representative of a characteristic belonging to the terminal, and selects an input server using the at least one value obtained. Then, the proxy server sends, to the terminal, an SIP redirection message including an IP address of the selected input server.

Abstract: A method for filtering an original communication, being generated by a caller device toward a called device, and identified by an uncertified caller identity and by at least one certified caller identity. The method includes: verifying a condition satisfied if the uncertified caller identity and the at least one certified caller identity are different; and if the condition is satisfied, detecting expiry of a waiting duration following the verification, this duration being equivalent to the duration of at least one ring; and following the expiry and if no message is detected indicating the end of the original communication, presenting to the called device the original communication with at least one caller identity from among the uncertified caller identity and the at least one certified caller identity, the original communication not being presented to the called device before the detection.

Abstract: A method for qualifying identity in a communication network upon initiation by caller terminal of a communication to a called terminal is described. The method is performed by the called terminal and includes receiving at least one identity of the calling terminal certified by a trusted third-party, as well as at least one non-certified identity of the calling terminal, and presenting the user of the called terminal with information representative of at least one of the identities of the calling terminal, accompanied by an indication representative of a qualification information indicating whether the at least one identity of the calling terminal is or is not certified by a trusted third party.

Abstract: A system and method for determining spoofing of at least one identifier are described, the identifier being intended for the use of a communication device, during communication between a first communication terminal and a second communication terminal. The method can be implemented by a device for determining spoofing of at least one identifier. The method can include receiving a signaling message of the communication from the first communication terminal and intended for the second communication terminal, the signaling message including at least one identifier and at least one first item of certification data, obtaining at least one second item of certification data on the basis of the at least one received identifier, comparing the at least one first item of certification data with said at least one second item of certification data, and transmitting at least the message to the second terminal on the basis of the result of the comparison.

Abstract: A method for configuring access to an Internet service, the method being implemented by a server known as a web server following at least one successful authentication request by a user to access the service, the at least one authentication request being initiated by a terminal of the user. The method includes: a first step of obtaining at least one identifier of the terminal and at least one authentication datum that are present in the at least one authentication request; a second step of obtaining, on the basis of the at least one obtained authentication datum, at least one identifier of the user; a third step of obtaining, on the basis of the at least one identifier of the user and of the at least one identifier of the terminal, at least one access parameter; and a step of configuring the service for the user on the basis of the at least one access parameter.

Abstract: A method is provided for managing a plurality of media flows to be reproduced by a calling device prior to the finalization of the establishment of a communication. The method is implemented by the calling device prior to the finalization of the communication. The method includes sending a request for the creation of the communication to at least one called device. For each media stream of the plurality of media streams, a first degree of priority associated with the media stream is searched for in a message received in response to the request for creation of the communication. A media stream to be played is selected from the plurality of media streams, according to second degrees of priority associated with the media streams of the plurality of media streams, the second degrees of priority obtained according to the result of the search.

The method can be implemented by a device for determining spoofing of at least one identifier. Abstract: A method for processing an incoming call to a called terminal in a telecommunications network, implemented by a TAS server in an IMS network. The method includes: interrogating an SDM entity to determine whether the service profile of the user associated with the called terminal contains IN terminating service information; interrogating an SDM entity to determine whether the routing domain to be used to route the call to the called terminal is a circuit or packet type; if the routing domain is a packet type, determining whether the called terminal is effectively reachable in packet mode, and if applicable, via which type of access network; if the service profile contains IN terminating information, allowing the IN terminating service provided for the user of the called terminal to be distinguished according to the type of access network of the called terminal; and routing the call to the called terminal.

Abstract: A method for managing user service profiles by an entity for managing the profiles of user services in a nominal network, before dispatching to a third-party entity a service profile of a the user. The method includes determining whether the third-party entity is in a visited network different from the nominal network; if so, determining, on the basis of the service profile of the user recorded in the profiles management entity, if the user has at least one mark associated with an IN originating service; if so, checking to determine whether there exists an intelligent network agreement between an operator of the nominal network and an operator of the visited network and if relevant the nature of the agreement; and dispatching, to the third-party entity, a service profile of the user determined as a function of a type of the service and of the result of the checking.

Abstract: A device for processing a signaling message related to a communication service provided to a client device via a communication network. When the client device is connected via an access network operating in circuit mode, the device translates a first signaling message for the circuit mode into a second signaling message suitable for being carried over the access network operating in packet mode, and vice versa. When the client device is connected via the access network operating in packet mode, the processing device receives from the client device a third signaling message suitable for being carried over the access network operating in packet mode and sends the third signaling message to a server of the communication network subsystem, and vice versa, and replaces in the received third signaling message a source address, including an address of the client device, with an address of the processing device.

Abstract: A monitoring method implemented by an access point for a network that can maintain an address association table is described. The method can include selecting at least two entries in the address association table, storing at least one predetermined characteristic obtained over a predefined period of time for each inflow and each outflow associated with the selected entries, and comparing, for at least one pair of selected entries, at least one stored characteristic for an inflow associated with one of the entries of the pair with the at least one corresponding stored characteristic for an outflow associated with the other entry of the pair. If, for at least one pair of entries, the comparison step indicates that an inflow associated with one of the entries of the pair transports an application content of the same nature as an outflow associated with the other entry of the pair, a risk of fraud can be detected.

Abstract: A method of control, by a piece of management equipment of a first telecommunication domain, of the authenticity of at least one relationship datum relating to the initiator of a communication and indicated in a message for establishing the communication originating from a second telecommunication domain and destined for the first telecommunication domain. The method includes, upon receipt of the message by the management equipment, extracting the at least one relationship datum from the message; searching for the at least one relationship datum in at least one database of the relationship data associated with the first domain, and rejecting the communication when an occurrence of the at least one relationship datum is found in the database.

Abstract: A method and a device for supplying location information to an apparatus connected to a network access point. The a method is implemented by a network access point, which is capable of providing the apparatus with access to a communication network to which the access point is connected when the apparatus is connected to a local network of the network access point. The network access point obtains, from a server of the communication network, information on the location of the network access point, the location information being location information certified by the operator of the communication network. The network access point receives, from the apparatus, a request for location information and sends the certified location information obtained to the apparatus.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for configuring a quality of service by way of a gateway including an interface on a local area network and an interface on a wide area network for a terminal of the local area network to access the wide area network, following the reception, by the gateway, of a network discovery message transmitted by the terminal, the method being noteworthy in that it comprises the steps of associating at least one address of the gateway on the local area network with a particular quality of service setting of the gateway, sending a network attachment offer message to the terminal, the message comprising at least one address of the gateway associated with a particular setting of the quality of service, and, upon reception of a message from the terminal and destined for an address of the gateway, processing the packet according to the setting associated with the destination address of the message.

Abstract: A method is described for processing a request by server of a multimedia IP network core, the request issued by a first device registered with a first multimedia IP network core and destined for a public identity allocated to at least one second device. The method includes replication of the request as a first request and at least one second request; triggering a routing of the first request within the first multimedia IP network core; and triggering a routing of the at least one second request according to at least one predetermined route destined for at least one entity for interconnection of the first multimedia IP network core with a second network core distinct from the first multimedia IP network core.

Abstract: A method is proposed for configuring a terminal by using a server in an IMS communication network. The method includes: receiving an SIP registration message from a terminal, the registration message having at least one parameter relating to the access network, obtaining a configuration from the parameter relating to the access network included in the registration message received, and transmitting to the terminal a response to the registration message, the message having the configuration obtained from the parameter relating to the access network. Correlatively, a method is proposed for obtaining a configuration on a terminal.

Abstract: A method is described for enhancing, by a device of a first telecommunications network, a communication signal transmitted by a first user of the first network intended for a second user of a second network. The method includes verifying, using a certified identifier of the first user determined by the first network, whether the first user belongs to a predetermined or given category of users. Upon determining that the first user belongs to the given category of users piece of certification information is inserted, for the attention of the second user in a field of the communication signal controlled by the first network, the certification information indicating that the first user belongs to the given category of users. The communication signal is then transferred to the second network.

Abstract: A method for locating a quality of service problem implemented on a terminal during a multi-media session between two terminals over a communication network, which includes at least one media gateway that is able to retransmit media data packets without particular processing according to a “router mode” of management. The terminals obtain a first quality of service data item relating to the multi-media session. Following a change in the mode of management to a “relay mode” in which the multi-media session initially established between the terminals is split into two separate multi-media sessions, it includes: obtaining of a second quality of service data item relating to one of the two multi-media sessions established following the change in the mode of management of the media gateway; comparing the first and second quality of service data items; and locating the quality of service problem depending on the result of the comparison.
