  • Publication number: 20230199449
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for implementing virtualized Road-Side Units (vRSUs). Edge computing devices implementing one or more vRSU services may associate vehicles with identifiers that are based at least in part upon the locations of the vehicles. The locations may be established by location services of the edge computing devices, based upon communication received from the vehicles via wireless cellular communication links. The edge computing devices may then process infrastructure information that they receive, for distribution to the vehicles, at the vRSU services. Based upon the processing of infrastructure information at the vRSU services, messages may be generated for transmission to the vehicles (e.g., over the wireless cellular communication links), with the messages carrying information based upon the infrastructure information, such as in the form of safety messages and/or information messages.

  • Patent number: 11381326
Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamic maximum transmission unit determination are disclosed. For example, one or more triggering events may be detected to initiate determining whether to adjust transmission unit sizing for data transmission between devices. Received signal strength indicator (RSSI) values may be exchanged between the devices and those RSSI values may be utilized to determine a strength of a communication signal between devices. When the RSSI values are low, the communication signal strength may be weak and the devices may adjust the transmission unit size to be larger. In other examples when the RSSI values are high, the communication signal strength may be strong and the devices may adjust the transmission unit size to be smaller.

  • Publication number: 20200297135
Abstract: A rectangular bed pillow has a longitudinal upper border having a proximal end and a distal end and a longitudinal lower border parallel to the longitudinal upper border. A first side border is connected to the proximal ends of the upper border and the lower border. A second side border is connected to the distal ends of the upper border and the lower border. A longitudinal partition is disposed parallel to the upper border and the lower border extending between the first and second side borders, forming an upper portion and a lower portion of the pillow. A first quantity of filling material fills the upper portion of the pillow and a second quantity of filling material fills the lower portion of the pillow, so the upper portion of the pillow has a first thickness and the lower portion of the pillow has a second thickness.

The receiver coil can be configured to have an alternating current induced therein by a transmitter coil. The interphase transformer can be configured to deliver a current to the load that is twice the current induced in the receiver coil, and the rectifier can be configured to rectify the current delivered to the load. The interphase transformer may be constructed with a center tapped winding structure or a bifilar winding structure, and may be constructed as a planar transformer. The rectifier may be made up of diodes (which may be Schottky diodes) or may be a synchronous rectifier comprised of switching devices such as MOSFETs.

  • Publication number: 20200065313
Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products for managing content objects in a content management system. A metadata template is assigned to a content object of the content management system. Extensible metadata pertaining to the content object is allocated in accordance with the assigned metadata template. Various operations over the content object result in population of the allocated extensible metadata. When the content object is subjected to a workflow, the execution flow and/or the form of responses associated with execution of the workflow are informed by the populated extensible metadata. A single content object can take on an association with multiple sets of extensible metadata and each set of extensible metadata can take on association with a respective workflow.
