Abstract: A system and method that automatically resolves conflicts among sensor information in a sensor fusion robot system. Such methods can accommodate converging ambiguous and divergent sensor information in a manner that can allow continued, and relatively accurate, robotic operations. The processes can include handling sensor conflict via sensor prioritization, including, but not limited, prioritization based on the particular stage or segment of the assembly operation when the conflict occurs, overriding sensor data that exceeds a threshold value, and/or prioritization based on evaluations of recent sensor performance, predictions, system configuration, and/or historical information. The processes can include responding to sensor conflicts through comparisons of the accuracy of workpiece location predictions from different sensors during different assembly stages in connection with arriving at a determination of which sensor(s) is providing accurate and reliable predictions.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes a base and a row of conductive terminals, including at least one pair of differential signal terminals and multiple ground terminals. Each conductive terminal is in contact with a mating component. The conductive terminals include a terminal group having two ground terminals and one pair of differential signal terminals located between the two ground terminals. In the terminal group, a pitch between the pair of differential signal terminals is defined as a first pitch, a pitch between each differential signal terminal and its adjacent ground terminal is defined as a second pitch, and the first pitch is less than the second pitch. A pitch between another ground terminal adjacent to the terminal group and an adjacent ground terminal in the terminal group is defined as a third pitch, which is greater than the second pitch. The electrical connector and the mating component form a connector assembly.

Abstract: A system and method for automatic recovery from a failure in a robotic assembly operation using multiple sensor input. Moreover, following detection of an error in an assembly operation from data provided by a first sensor, a recovery plan can be executed, and, if successful, a reattempt at the failed assembly operation can commence. The assembly stage during which the error occurred can be detected by a second sensor that is different from the first sensor. Identification of the assembly stage can assist with determining the recovery plan, as well as identifying the assembly operation that is to be reattempted. The failure can be detected by comparing information obtained from a sensor, such as, for example, a force signature, with corresponding historical information, including historical information obtained at the identified assembly stage for prior workpieces.

Abstract: An electrical module is electrically conducted with an electronic component, and includes multiple conductors having a first row of conductors arranged in a left-right direction and an insulating body fixing the first row of conductors. Each conductor has a contact portion in contact with the electronic component. A distance between each two adjacent contact portions of the conductors in the left-right direction is defined as a contact interval. The first row of conductors have at least one pair of signal conductors and at least two ground conductors. Each two adjacent sides of the pair of signal conductors has one ground conductor. The contact interval from one signal conductor to its adjacent ground conductor is defined as a first contact interval. The contact interval from the other signal conductor to its adjacent ground conductor is defined as a second contact interval. The first and second contact intervals are not equal.

Abstract: A launching tube for use with a liquid filled tank can be sized to accommodate a submersible vehicle for dispensing into the liquid tank. The tank can be an electrical transformer or any other liquid containing tank such as but not limited to a chemical tank. The launching tube can include a valve for insertion into a launching chamber, and a tank side valve for launching of the submersible into the tank. In one form the launching tube includes an antenna for communication with the submersible and/or a base station. The launching tube can also include a sensor such as a camera, as well as an agitator. The agitator can be used to facilitate bubble removal from the inside of the launching tube.

Abstract: The disclosure discloses a method for testing edge computing, a device, and a readable storage medium, and relates to a field of edge computing technologies. The detailed implementation includes: obtaining a model to be tested from a mobile edge platform; generating a test task based on the model to be tested, the test task including the model to be tested and an automated test program for operating the model to be tested; delivering the test task to an edge device, to enable the edge device to operate the model to be tested by executing the automated test program; and generating a test result based on execution information of the test task.

The magnetic sensor captures time-dependent magnetic signal. The data processing unit extract a signature feature from the magnetic signal. The signature feature is sent to a server through the data bus; and the server makes a decision based upon the signature feature from the detection nodes using an AI deep learning algorithm.

Abstract: A vehicle lift and storage system (VLSS) can have distributed control and power networks. The VLSS includes a central control unit (CCU) and a plurality of distributed control units (DCUs). Each of the DCUs is associated with and can control one or more vehicle lifts within the VLSS. For instance, each DCU can include high voltage switches (e.g., contactors) for operating one or more motors for moving vehicle platforms on the vehicle lifts associated with that DCU. The CCU can generate and transmit commands to cause the DCU to activate or deactivate the motors in accordance with desired vehicle storage or retrieval operations. Furthermore, the DCUs are configurable to be daisy chained such that a first DCU can communicate with the CCU on the control network via a second DCU and the first DCU can further receive high voltage power for operating its associated motors via the second DCU.

In accordance with one aspect, a method for multimaterial fabrication of three-dimensional (3D) printed structures includes lifting a printing platform having a 3D printed structure formed thereon to remove the 3D printed structure from a plate through which radiation was transmitted to fabricate the 3D printed structure and activating a blast of an air jet focused on the surface of the plate under the printing platform to remove waste material left on the surface of the plate when the printing platform is lifted. In accordance with another aspect, method for three-dimensional (3D) printing includes photopolymerizing a photocurable resin to form a fabricated structure and programmed thermal treating of the fabricated structure for transesterification of material of the fabricated structure.
