Abstract: A multi-step electrochemical stripping method includes providing a determined electrode potential between a reference electrode and an article submerged in an electrolyte; recording a current peak value of a current signal flowing through the article; removing the voltage provided to the article when the current signal falls to a determined first current value after passing the current peak value; refreshing the electrolyte; providing the determined electrode potential again for a determined time and determining whether the current signal is less than a determined second current value during the determined time, if not, goes back to the refreshing step; and if yes, the process ends.

Abstract: A process is provided for forming shaped air holes, such as for use in turbine blades. Aspects of the disclosure relate to forming shaped portions of air holes using a short pulse laser, forming a metered hole corresponding to each shaped portion, and separately finishing the shaped portion using a short-pulse laser. In other embodiments, the order of these operations may be varied, such as to form the shaped portions and to finish the shaped portions using the short-pulse laser prior to forming the corresponding metered holes.

Abstract: An electrochemical machining process for forming a non-circular hole from a substantially circular hole within a workpiece using an electrode. The electrode is made of an electrically conductive material and has insulated areas in which the electrically conductive material is coated with an insulating material, and exposed areas of metal or conductive material. The insulated areas and exposed areas extending in rows substantially along a longitudinal axis of the electrode. The electrode is first positioned in a substantially circular hole. An electric current is then applied to the electrode to electrochemically remove a predetermined amount of material from the substantially circular hole to form a non-circular hole. A variety of different non-circular shapes are achievable using the process.

Abstract: A method, server and computer storage medium for logging in, the method includes: receiving a login request including user's identification; assigning a body identification corresponding to the user's identification according to the login request, and generating a success login message that includes the body identification; returning the success login message including the body identification. The method distributes a corresponding body identification after receiving a login request that includes user's identifications, then returns a success login message containing the body identification to the client. When a same user's identification logs in different terminal clients, corresponding body identifications are distributed to every client, thereby the same user's identification can log in different terminal clients simultaneously without forcing other user's identifications which have logged in other terminals to be logged out.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to the use and manufacture of cooling features within a component used in a hot gas path, such as within a turbine. In one embodiment, channels are formed within an external surface of the component and filled with a removable material. The external surface and channels may then be coated with one or more layers, such as a structural layer and/or top coat. The removable material may then be removed to leave the channels free of the removable material.

Abstract: A method is disclosed that includes receiving a multimedia data stream comprising audio data, video data, and text data at a first electronic device of a plurality of electronic devices responsive to a network. A content structure of the multimedia data stream is automatically determined at least partially based on the text data. The portion of multimedia data stream is stored in a local media database and the associated content structure is stored in a local content index. A network index alert is generated to update a centralized content index of available media content via the network.

Abstract: Writing logs in a distributed information system are provided. The logs are related to a transaction instance. A method includes retrieving a log proxy instance from a log server. The log proxy instance includes information related to the transaction instance and information related to currently running component in the transaction instance. The method also includes writing the logs for the transaction instance based on the log proxy instance. Aspects of the present invention further provide a method of facilitating writing logs and analyzing logs. Moreover, the embodiments further provide corresponding apparatuses and system.

Abstract: A motor drive device comprises a motor, a gearbox mounted to the motor and a control module. The gearbox comprises a gearbox housing that has an opening facing the motor. The motor has a shaft that extends into the gearbox housing through the opening to drive a worm gear of the gearbox. The control module has a PCB mounted to the gearbox and most of the PCB is accommodated in the opening of the gearbox housing. The PCB extends in a plane substantially parallel to the shaft.
