    Abstract: The heat exchanger includes a tube having axially spaced fins or a continuously spirally wound fin about the tube. One or more of the fins are dimpled, mechanically or molded, to provide concavities and projections on opposite sides of the fins or alternating concavities and projections on opposite side of the fins. The dimples improve the heat transfer between the fluid flowing through the tubes and the air circulating about the tubes and through the fins. The dimples create vortices and turbulent flow between the fins and effectively increase the heat transfer rate.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method for hybrid machining a workpiece is disclosed. The apparatus includes a mandrel for supporting the workpiece adjacent a cutter mounted on an arbor. A workpiece is powered as an anode and the cutter is powered as a cathode, and a cutting fluid or coolant is circulated therebetween. The cutter is made of a conductive material and a non-conductive abrasive material to maximize the amount of material removed from the workpiece. The coolant includes one or more additives to enhance the electrical discharge between the cutter and the workpiece. The cutter is moved relative to the workpiece to remove material from the workpiece at a predetermined depth of cut using an enhanced high-speed electro-erosion (HSEE) process in which both HSEE and abrasive machining processes are used. The workpiece may then be finish machined to a final shape of the titanium article, such as a dovetail of a turbine blade.

    Abstract: A material for producing a conductive composition comprising polymer particles, conductive particles, and a liquid medium. The material is in a liquid/dispersion form until it is cured at which time it forms an electrically conductive composition. The composition contains larger sized polymer particles along with smaller metal conductive filler particles such as nanoparticle-sized filler particles. The larger polymer particles create excluded volume in the material matrix and reduce the percolation threshold of the conductive filler particles to provide a conductive material with a reduced volume fraction of electrically conductive filler. The electrical conductivity of the material is further increased after heat treatment which causes the conductive filler particles to sinter together to form a highly conductive network.

Further, the CNC controller is configured to segment the toolpath of every layer into a plurality of segments, and to divide the compensation value for every layer to be machined into a plurality of value segments, and further to use the value segments to compensate for electrode wear along the respective toolpath segments during machining of the workpiece. The insulated areas and exposed areas extending in rows substantially along a longitudinal axis of the electrode. The electrode is first positioned in a substantially circular hole. An electric current is then applied to the electrode to electrochemically remove a predetermined amount of material from the substantially circular hole to form a non-circular hole. The exemplary method further enables a user to search the blog data regardless of whether the blog data originated from a syndicated data source or non-syndicated data source.

The printed circuit boards are often used for supporting electronic components in circuit and conducting the heat from electronic components. The printed circuit board structure includes a laminated structure. The laminated structure comprises an electric conduction layer and an insulation layer. The electric conduction layer can be made of a special thermal conduction material, including a metal and a bracket structure of carbon element. The insulation layer can be made of thermal conduction material as well, combining a bracket structure of carbon element. The bracket structure of carbon element has high thermal conductivity so as to improve the heat conduction efficiency. The corresponding manufacturing method for this thermal conduction material can be made with chemical vapor deposition, physical vapor deposition, electroplating or the other materials preparation method.
