  • Publication number: 20120191554
Abstract: A kiosk apparatus that may select for a person a recommended footcare product based on pressure measurements collected from pressures sensors or calculated biomechanical data estimates. Pressure measurements and calculated biomechanical data estimates may be used to determine if a foot is unshod on the pressure sensor and also group a person into a classified subgroup. The pressure measurement and calculated biomechanical data estimates may also be used to select a recommended footcare product.

  • Patent number: 8208444
Abstract: A method, a communication system, and a network entity for group handover are provided. The method includes the following steps. A first tunnel connection is established between a mobile relay station (MRS) and a serving entity (SE). A target entity (TE) obtains group information about the group to be handed over, and the group information includes information about a first tunnel. According to the group information, the TE configures information about a second tunnel for the group, and the information about the second tunnel is required for group handover. The group nodes are handed over from the SE to the TE according to the information about the second tunnel. Thereby, the group information that needs to be transmitted in a handover process is reduced, and problems resulting from the number of handovers can be avoided.

  • Publication number: 20120034948
Abstract: A method, device and system for regulating power consumption are provided in the embodiments of the present invention. A method for regulating power consumption includes: obtaining, by a base station, an application point and a configuration parameter; sending, by the base station, an indication message to a terminal according to the application point and configuration parameter; regulating, by the base station, the power consumption of the base station by using the configuration parameter at the application point; the configuration parameter comprises cell antenna information or system bandwidth information; the indication message instructs the terminal to use the configuration parameter at the application point. Under the condition that user's normal communication is remained, the number of cell antennas or the cell bandwidth is dynamically changed so that the number of a downstream reference signal is dynamically adjusted. This reduces the power consumption of the network device.

  • Publication number: 20100116738
Abstract: The present invention provides for two separate processes for removing impurities from an organic solvent based ruthenium precursor. The first process comprises the steps of contacting the organic solvent based ruthenium precursor with one or more drying agents under an inert gas blanket for a sufficient period of time to allow at least a portion of the impurities in the organic solvent based ruthenium precursor to be adsorbed by the one or more drying agents; and separating the one or more drying agents which have at least a portion of the impurities adsorbed thereon from the organic solvent based ruthenium precursor.

  • Publication number: 20100062772
Abstract: A method, a wireless communication system, and a group mobility controller (GMC) for processing group mobility are provided by the exemplary embodiments of the present invention. In the method, a fixed GMC paging group identifier (PG-ID) is assigned to the GMC when the GMC starts up a group mobility function; and a target network obtains group information of the GMC, and updates a PG-ID list of the target network with the group information of the GMC during a message interaction process when the GMC hands over from a serving network to the target network, and then utilizes the updated PG-ID list during a subsequent interaction process with a group node. The system includes a GMC, a serving network, and a target network. The signaling storm raised when numbers of terminals in an idle mode perform location update at the same time during the group mobility can be avoided according to the above technical solutions, thereby realizing the economy of air interface resources and signaling overheads.
