  • Publication number: 20080252164
Abstract: Shift gears of a variable speed motor is no longer needed for a set of gears, but multiple layers disks with magnets fit over an axle rotated by a multiple layers annular opening of a housing, where winding coils wound along inside each annulus seperately. When electrifying each winding coils on each annulus, each corresponding disk can rotate the axle at a fixed ratio to output an extreme high speed or a high torque at low or moderate speed. Such disks and annuli are arranged according to their decrement diameters from the opening to a top of the housing; thereby, each disk is corresponding to each annulus with winding coils in one-to-one relationship. However, magnets disposed to a perimeter of each disk, which is made from magnetic insulation material, such as aluminum alloys, to avoid from interference among each disk.

  • Patent number: 6893797
Abstract: Negative working thermally imageable elements useful as lithographic printing plate precursors and methods for their use are disclosed. The elements have a substrate, a layer of imageable composition over the substrate, and, optionally, an overcoat layer over the layer of imageable composition. The imageable composition has an allyl-functional polymeric binder. Optimum resolution and on-press performance can be attained without a post-exposure bake. The elements do not require a post-exposure bake and can be used in on-press development applications.

  • Patent number: 6376140
Abstract: A printing plate useful in lithographic printing is prepared by the process comprising: (a) applying an alkali soluble composition comprising at least one polymer composition to a hydrophilic surface on a substrate to provide the surface face with at least one layer which is alkali soluble at a pH in the range of about 6.0 to 14.0; (b) imaging the coated substrate electrostatically with a toner composition; (c) heating the imaged substrate a first time to a temperature greater than the glass transition temperature of the toner composition; (d) contacting the imaged substrate with an aqueous alkaline solution having a pH in the range of about 6.0 to about 14.0; and (e) heating the imaged substrate a second time to a temperature greater than the glass transition temperature of the toner composition. This printing plate is capable of long runs on press with good image quality and advantageously minimizes the occurrence of undesirable background toner “specking” on press.

  • Patent number: 5009388
Abstract: A magnetic-controlled valve for fluid pipelines. The valve comprises a sealed guide bushing accommodating an external magnetic ring movable along the outer wall thereof and an internal magnetic plug-stopper movable longitudinally therein. A valve body accommodates one or more stages of a valve plunger, and the internal magnetic plug-stopper is aligned and engaged with the plunger. Lifting the external magnetic ring will lift the internal magnetic plug-stopper through a magnetic force, thus lifting the plunger to open the fluid passage of the valve body. This forms a magnetic-controlled stop valve. In an alternate configuration, an external magnetic ring is rotated to rotate the internal magnetic ring (blocks) to bring a butterfly type valve plate into rotary motion through a connecting rod. The rod is provided with a stopper element connected to the internal magnetic ring, thus forming a magnetic-controlled butterfly valve.
