  • Publication number: 20250236150
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a suspension control method, apparatus, and system for utilizing virtual vehicle dynamics data. The suspension control method includes receiving vehicle dynamics data from an inertial measurement unit (IMU) which is disposed at a first location on a vehicle. Next, virtual vehicle dynamics data is generated where the virtual vehicle dynamics data corresponds to information which would be received from IMU provided IMU was disposed at a second location on the vehicle. Suspension control data configured for use by a suspension component is then generated. The suspension control data is generated using virtual vehicle dynamics data. Finally, suspension control data is output to the suspension component.

  • Publication number: 20250092932
Abstract: A shock assembly with internal bypass having position dependent reservoir flow is provided. The shock assembly includes a twin tube shock body having an inner tube and an outer tube. The shock assembly also includes a ring divider coupled between the inner body and the outer body to separate and form a fluid gap between the inner body and the outer body. The shock assembly includes bypass ports and bleeder ports formed in the inner body. Additionally, there are reservoir flow ports formed in the inner body and located above body divider ring, wherein the reservoir flow ports are configured to direct shaft displacement flow of fluid to a reservoir of the shock assembly when a piston of the shock assembly passes by the reservoir flow ports and into the bump zone during a compression stroke. This eliminates the risk of cavitation in the bump zone.

  • Publication number: 20230383848
Abstract: A singular piston included behind a valve seat within a gate valve assembly can be energized by external pressure through a hydraulic port within the valve body. When the back side of the singular piston is energized, the singular piston applies force in one direction against the adjacent valve seat, valve gate, opposing valve seat and valve seat pocket in both the valve open position and the valve closed position to block any unwanted matter from moving into the valve backside cavity. A singular piston has a pressure sealing surface and a piston pocket with an adjacent pressure sealing surface that allows the valve to seal in the closed position with the contained fluid bore pressure against the opposing valve body flow path side to the piston without the piston being energized.
