Abstract: A ratchet keychain attachment includes a body and a ratcheting area in the body. The ratchet keychain attachment further includes a bit holder, the bit holder pivotally mounted in the body. The ratchet keychain attachment further includes a bit, removably located in the bit holder, the bit holder having a first position where the bit is held in a non-removable position in the bit holder and a second position where the bit is in a removable position.

Abstract: An adjustable cargo tie-down includes a cam buckle and a hook that couple together in a retained manner to reduce accidental disengagement. The cam buckle includes a frame that supports a rear pin and a spring-biased locking cam that clamps a webbing strap. The cam buckle also includes a pin for the hook and a retention feature adjacent the engagement bar, such as a wall or rib extending from a floor of the buckle. The hook receives the pin and is rotatable between a retained orientation, in which the retention feature blocks sliding release, and a release orientation that permits separation. In some examples, the hook includes a spring-loaded locking pin that further prevents unintended release.

Abstract: A light-up object includes a rubberized outer body; a plug in a cavity of the outer body; and a lighting device located in the plug. The light-up object further includes a first inner capsule piece, the first inner capsule piece located in the plug, and a second inner capsule piece located in the cavity of the outer body, the second inner capsule piece shaped to engage with the first inner capsule piece. The first and second inner capsules are threaded to fit together. The outer body includes grooves, running around multiple circumferences of the outer body. The outer body has a size of approximately a baseball; the outer body is shaped approximately like a sphere; and the grooves are at least 5 mm deep in the outer body.

Abstract: An assembly for attachment to an end of a cord that facilitates interconnection to another device. The device defines an opening through which the cord extends. The cord includes an end portion, such as a loop, ferrule positioned about the loop, that secures a ring configured to be positioned adjacent the opening to prevent withdrawal of the cord from the device when cord tension is applied. The assembly enables secure and durable attachment of the cord to the device without crimp sleeves or end caps and allows simplified assembly using conventional cord materials and diameters.

Abstract: A method for selecting a mode/color on a lighting module, the lighting module having only a single button includes: receiving a first actuation of the single button at the lighting module. The method further includes responsive to the first actuation, turning the device on and displaying a first mode/color. The method further includes detecting that the single button is held down. The method further includes displaying a plurality of modes/colors in a timed sequence, such that each mode/color of the plurality of modes/colors is displayed for a preset time period. The method further includes detecting that the single button is released. The method further includes displaying a selected mode/color of the plurality of modes/colors that was displayed when the single button was released.

Abstract: An animal restraint is either a leash or a collar. The animal restraint includes a lighting module and a circuit board, the circuit board enclosed in the lighting module. The animal restraint further includes a first light source connected to the circuit board, such that the first light source does not have a fixed position in relation to the circuit board, the first light source enclosed in the lighting module. The animal restraint further includes a fiber optic connected to and receiving light from the first light source, the fiber optic at least partially in the lighting module. The animal restraint further includes a first flat strap, the fiber optic surrounded by the first flat strap.

Abstract: A system for mounting an electronic device includes a socket and a stand, the stand having a ball portion. The socket and the ball portion include first magnetic material to hold the socket and the ball portion together in a position selected by a user, the socket further including a magnetic array, the magnetic array having magnetism to hold an electronic device to the socket. In one alternative, the first magnetic material is separate from the magnetic array.

Abstract: A restraint system for an animal comprising a collar assembly and a retractable leash assembly. The collar assembly comprises a strap member adapted to be secured around a portion of the animal and a pouch member secured to the strap member. The pouch member defines a pouch chamber and an open end. The retractable leash assembly comprises a retraction assembly secured to the strap member within the pouch chamber, a cord member operatively connected to the retraction assembly, and a handle member operatively connected to the cord member. The retractable leash assembly is operable in a retracted configuration in which the handle member is substantially within the pouch chamber. The retractable leash assembly is operable in an extended configuration in which the handle member is outside of the pouch chamber.
