The apparatus further includes a first and second gate, the first gate attached to the body and oriented to close the first hook, the second gate attached to the body and oriented to close the second hook. The apparatus further includes a pivoting lock, the pivoting lock oriented in the body, the pivoting lock having a first position where a first end of the pivoting lock rests against the first gate and a second end of the pivoting lock rests against the second gate preventing the first and second gates from opening; and a second position where the first end of the pivoting lock does not rest against the first gate and the second end of the pivoting lock does not rest against the second gate, and the first and second gates may be opened.

The system further includes a cam lever, the cam lever oriented in the body and in communication with the clip, the cam lever having a first position and a second position, the first position characterized by the cam lever not engaging the clip, the second position characterized by the cam lever engaging the clip, and causing the top and bottom portion of the clip to be pushed together.

Abstract: An organizing device with rubberized twist ties. The organizing device includes a body piece and a back piece designed such that the back piece fits into the body piece to form an enclosed unit. The gripping surface will provide more grip for the twist tie device when it is wrapped around itself, and the gripping surface will provide more grip when it is wrapped around objects.
