Patent number: 8608407Abstract: A connector for connecting together two floating dock sections includes a first half having a pair of slotted cylinders and a second half with a pair of cones. A pair of rods connects the first half to the second half. When the two halves are loosely connected together, the connector is inserted into opposing receiver sockets of a pair of opposing floating dock members. A flange located at an upper end of the first half arrests the downward travel of the inserted and loosely connected first and second halves. As the rods are tightened, the pair of cones travel toward the pair of slotted cylinders and cause the slotted cylinders to expand radially outward.Type: GrantFiled: July 14, 2011Date of Patent: December 17, 2013Assignee: HydroHoist Marine Group, Inc.Inventors: Michael D. Vaughn, Paul Bradley Forrest

Patent number: 8267904Abstract: A medicinal delivery device is provided. The device includes a clip defining an ala inner surface-engaging portion about a first end thereof. The clip also defines an ala outer surface-engaging portion about a second end thereof. The ala outer surface-engaging portion is in spaced-apart and generally inward facing arrangement relative to the first end of the clip. This forms a gap between the ala inner surface-engaging portion and the ala outer surface-engaging portion for receiving a patient's ala. A medicine chamber is carried about the first end of the clip for dispensing medicine into the patient's nasal cavity.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 2010Date of Patent: September 18, 2012Assignee: The Hunt Project, LLCInventors: Ronald Douglas Hunt, Paul Bradley Forrest

Patent number: 8172254Abstract: A collapsible support frame has a front frame, a rear frame, and a locking mechanism connected to the front and rear frames. The locking mechanism has a lever and a base member. In the locked position, the lever and the base member engage to pull the front and rear frames towards each other. This places tension on the front and rear frames and holds the frame structure in an open or unfolded position for use. In the unlocked position, the lever and the base member separate from each other. This releases the tension placed on the front and rear frames and allows the frame structure to collapse or fold in on itself for storage.Type: GrantFiled: September 4, 2007Date of Patent: May 8, 2012Inventors: Frederick K. Park, Paul Bradley Forrest, Michael Dickson

Patent number: 7748777Abstract: A collapsible support frame includes a plurality of segmented legs pivotally connected to an inner surface of a collar, and are held together by an elastic cord. The legs pivot between a folded and a deployed position. In the folded position, the legs segments form a bundle to facilitate storage or transport. Portions of the legs segments may seat within leg seats formed in the outer surface of the collar. In the deployed position, the legs pivot to contact leg support seats formed at angles in an inner surface of the collar. After contact, each leg extends in a different direction supported by its respective leg support seat. The elastic cord provides tension that keeps the leg segments together in the deployed position, and prevents the leg segments from becoming lost or separated in the folded position.Type: GrantFiled: May 6, 2008Date of Patent: July 6, 2010Inventors: Frederick K. Park, Paul Bradley Forrest

Patent number: 7447966Abstract: Exemplary techniques for verifying a hardware design are described. In a described embodiment, a method comprises compiling an error verification object corresponding to an error verification command to verify a portion of a hardware design of a device under test. The error verification object is compiled in accordance with data provided by an error scripting module. The error scripting module has access to hardware-specific data corresponding to the hardware design of the device under test. The compiled object is sent to the device under test and a response to the compiled object is received from the device under test. The received response from the device under test is parsed in accordance with data provided by the error scripting module.Type: GrantFiled: January 5, 2005Date of Patent: November 4, 2008Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development CompanyInventors: Anand V.
