  • Patent number: 11004567
Abstract: In an example, the technique also detects and measures vital signs of each human target by continuous, non-intrusive method. In an example, the vital signs of interest include a heart rate and a respiratory rate, which can provide valuable information about the human's wellness. Additionally, the heart rate and respiratory rate can also be used to identify a particular person, if more than two target humans living in a home. Of course, there can be other variations, modifications, and alternatives.

  • Patent number: 10770092
Abstract: Systems and methods for viseme data generation are disclosed. Uncompressed audio data is generated and/or utilized to determine the beats per minute of the audio data. Visemes are associated with the audio data utilizing a Viterbi algorithm and the beats per minute. A time-stamped list of viseme data is generated that associates the visemes with the portions of the audio data that they correspond to. An animatronic toy and/or an animation is caused to lip sync using the viseme data while audio corresponding to the audio data is output.

  • Patent number: 10767481
Abstract: A self-advancing roof support for a longwall mining system includes a base, a hydraulic actuator having one end pivotally coupled to the base, and a canopy portion that is connected to another end of the hydraulic actuator. The roof support also includes a load sensor disposed on the canopy portion. The load sensor generates a signal indicative of an amount of load borne by the canopy portion in abutment with a roof of an underground mine site. A controller is communicably coupled to the load sensor and the hydraulic actuator. The controller determines if the signal from the load sensor is suggestive of a cavity adjacent to a zone above the canopy portion. Based on the determination, the controller actuates movement of the hydraulic actuator such that the canopy portion is displaced into a position underlying the cavity.
