Each of the transceiver modules has an antenna array to be configured to sense a back scatter of electromagnetic energy from spatial location of a zero degree location in relation to a mid point of the device through a 360 degrees range where each antenna array is configured to sense a 120 degree range. In an example, each of the antenna array has a support member, a plurality of receiving antenna, a receiver integrated circuit coupled to the receiving antenna and configured to receive an incoming rf signal and covert the incoming rf signal into a base band signal, and a plurality of transmitting antenna. Each antenna array has a transmitter integrated circuit coupled to the transmitting antenna to transmit an outgoing rf signal.

Abstract: An edge server of a content delivery network (CDN) can serve as a proxy for an origin server. The edge server can remove distinguishing characteristics of the origin server. As a result, an end user system may be prevented from blocking content from the origin server based on the distinguishing characteristics. Additionally or alternatively, the edge server can encrypt a portion a uniform resource locator (URL) referencing the origin server so that the clear text of the URL does not follow a recognizable pattern. The path can be decrypted by the edge server when the edge server communicates with the origin server to retrieve the content from the origin server.

Abstract: An egress man-in-the-middle (MITM) system comprising: a trusted computing asset disposed in a first local subnet and connected to a computer network; and an egress MITM effector disposed in the first local subnet and configured to passively monitor incoming network traffic to the trusted computing asset, and further configured to obfuscate true information regarding the trusted computing asset to other computing assets on the computer network by transmitting, as if from the trusted computing asset, a spoofed response in answer to selected incoming network traffic, wherein the spoofed response comprises false or misleading information regarding the trusted computing asset thereby protecting the trusted computing asset from attack.

Abstract: In embodiments, systems and methods may involve using a platform as disclosed herein for applications described herein where the systems and methods involve receiving a dataset in an analytic platform, the dataset including fact data and dimension data for a plurality of distinct product categories. It may also involve storing the data in a flexible hierarchy, the hierarchy allowing the temporary fixing of data along a dimension and flexible querying along other dimensions of the data. It may also involve pre-aggregating certain combinations of data to facilitate rapid querying, the pre-aggregation based on the nature of common queries. It may also involve facilitating the presentation of a cross-category view of an analytic query of the dataset. In embodiments, the temporarily fixed dimension can be rendered flexible upon an action by the user.

Abstract: A self-advancing roof support for a longwall mining system includes a base, a hydraulic actuator having one end pivotally coupled to the base, and a canopy portion that is connected to another end of the hydraulic actuator. The roof support also includes a load sensor disposed on the canopy portion. The load sensor generates a signal indicative of an amount of load borne by the canopy portion in abutment with a roof of an underground mine site. A controller is communicably coupled to the load sensor and the hydraulic actuator. The controller determines if the signal from the load sensor is suggestive of a cavity adjacent to a zone above the canopy portion. Based on the determination, the controller actuates movement of the hydraulic actuator such that the canopy portion is displaced into a position underlying the cavity.

The one or more memories include memory elements for storing threads. The memory elements refer to respective portions of the one or more memories and are accessible to at least one of the nodes. The allocation interface is configured to allocate the memory elements to lockless list structures. Each of the lockless list structures is allocated to a respective set of the memory elements. The lockless list structures are partitioned for the processors. The allocation interface is configured to receive requests from the processors for the memory elements and adjust allocation of the memory elements between the lockless list structures according to a balancing metric.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are a bone plating system and a method for utilizing the same. The bone plating system may include first and second bone plates in contact with respective first and second bones, a cross-connector, a cutting guide and a targeter device. The cross-connector may have a first end and an opposite second extending along a longitudinal axis from the first bone plate to the second bone plate. The cutting guide may have an elongate body placed on one of the first or second bones. The targeter device may have a drill guide to align the cross-connector with the first and second bone plates. A method for fixing the bone plating system to the first and second bone may include using the targeter device.

Abstract: The systems and methods described herein can provide a protocol escalation path in response to a client system's request or in response to a triggering event. For example, the computing system can provide an indication to a client system that the client system can upgrade from a regular connection channel to an upgraded connection channel if the client system can solve a certain proof-of-work. The computing system may also receive a request from the client system to access an upgraded connection channel. The upgraded connection channel may provide more bandwidth, stability, higher priority, etc., alone or in combination, comparing to the regular connection channel.

The method comprises: receiving an auction request comprising a keyword identifying a required offering and one or more parameters associated with the keyword, each parameter defining a required attribute of the offering; retrieving a plurality of vendor bids, each bid comprising one or more vendor parameters associated with the keyword, each vendor parameter defining an attribute of a vendor offering corresponding to the required offering; determining whether each of the vendor bids satisfies the required attributes defined by the parameters; and when the determination is affirmative for at least one vendor bid, transmitting vendor data for a vendor associated with the at least one vendor bid to the mobile electronic device for storage at the mobile electronic device in association with the keyword.
