Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media can be operable to facilitate dynamic packet prioritization for delivery of content to multiple devices. Methods, systems, and computer readable media described herein are operable to prioritize packet delivery to a plurality of client devices based upon feedback received from the client devices, wherein the feedback includes buffer status information associated with the client devices. The rate of transmitting packets to a client device having a stressed buffer may be increased, while the rate of transmitting packets to one or more other client devices may be decreased. Buffer status information may be received periodically or conditionally at a central device in the form of feedback messages output from one or more client devices.

Abstract: An apparatus generating audio cues for content indicative of the position of audio objects within the content comprising: an audio processor receiving raw audio tracks for said content and information indicative of the positions of at least some of said audio tracks within frames of said content, said audio processor generating corresponding audio parameters; an authoring tool receiving said audio parameters and generating encoding coefficients, said audio parameters including audio cue of the position of audio objects corresponding to said tracks in at least one spatial dimension; and a first audio/video encoder receiving an input and encoding said input into an audio visual content having visual objects and audio objects, said audio objects being disposed at location corresponding to said one spatial position, said encoder using said encoding coefficients for said encoding.

Abstract: A mobile insurance architecture includes a wireless communication interface that connects mobile client devices to wireless networks. An insurance server cluster that includes a group of independent network servers operates and appears to mobile client devices as if the group of independent network servers were a single computer server. An adaptive transmission controller communicates with the insurance server cluster and processes content in multiple mobile formats that may be optimized to the screen sizes of the mobile client devices. The insurance server cluster responds to native application clients resident to the mobile client devices. The native application clients contain code stored on a non-transitory media that render insurance quoting services, insurance claims services, on-line insurance policy services, usage based insurance services, mobile monitoring services, or insurance agency management services.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing information along a shelf edge of a retailer is described. On a display configured to be oriented along an edge of a shelf of a retailer, a first user interface including first information about a first product on the shelf is provided. At least one second user interface including at least one second information about at least one second product on the shelf is provided on the display. An individual is permitted to edit a parameter of the first user interface and/or the at least one second user interface. The parameter may include at least one of: a size of the user interface on the display, a shape of the user interface on the display, and a location of the user interface on the display. The first information and the at least one second information may be outputted concurrently to the display.

Abstract: The present technology is generally directed to systems and methods for improving quenched coke recovery. More specifically, some embodiments are directed to systems and methods utilizing one or more of a screen, barrier, or reflector panel to contain or redirect coke during or after quenching. In a particular embodiment, a quench car system for containing coke includes a quench car having a base, a plurality of sidewalls, and a top portion. The system can further include a permeable barrier covering at least a portion of the top of the quench car, wherein the permeable barrier has a plurality of apertures therethrough.

Abstract: A communication system and method including the steps of receiving a first request to initiate a guaranteed quality of service flow in a network, broadcasting a second request from a Network Coordinator to a plurality of nodes connected to the network and receiving a first response to the second request from at least one ingress node. The method further includes receiving a second response to the second request from at least one egress node indicating whether the at least one egress node has available resources to receive the guaranteed quality of service flow and allocating resources for the guaranteed quality of service flow if the at least one ingress node has available resources to transmit, and the at least one egress node has available resources to receive, the guaranteed quality of service flow.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media can be operable to facilitate the control of a media device based upon the proximity of a wireless device. A viewable area may be mapped for one or more media devices within a premise, wherein the map of the viewable area for a media device includes one or more wireless quality parameters observed by a wireless device while the wireless device is located within an area around the media device from which a user may view content output from the media device. Based upon a comparison between wireless quality parameters currently observed by a wireless device and wireless quality parameters of a viewable area map, a determination may be made that the wireless device is within the viewable area of a media device, and the wireless device may be configured as a control device for the media device.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for alerting an individual is described. A determination as to whether an individual is within a sensing area of a first device is made. The first device may be configured to provide information about a product on a shelf on which the first device is attached. In response to determining that the individual is within the sensing area, a determination as to whether to notify an occurrence of the determination that the individual is within the sensing area of the first device to at least one second device is made. In response to determining to notify, a notification may be transmitted to the at least one second device that the individual is within the sensing area of the first device. An alert may be triggered at the at least one second device based upon the transmitted notification.

Abstract: A convertible trailer includes a frame including a tongue portion arranged to facilitate towing by a vehicle, a main portion supported by the frame and defining a portion of a space, and an end portion coupled to the main portion and cooperating with the main portion to define the space. Abstract: An HVAC switching circuit may comprise a current source circuit charging a capacitor used to power an HVAC DC power relay coil. The power relay coil terminal is connected to an activation control circuit which comprises at least one of (1) each of (a) a threshold circuit which activates a first transistor to energize the power relay coil when the voltage across the threshold circuit reaches a first threshold value and (b) a regenerative feedback circuit configured to lower the first threshold value to a second threshold voltage, and (2) a voltage divider connected between a first terminal on the power relay coil and the negative DC supply, and a programmable shunt regulator, configured as a level triggered switch, programmed by the voltage divider and connected between the second power relay coil terminal and the negative DC supply.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media may be operable to facilitate an automated pairing between an access point and station through a secure setup procedure. An access point may enter into an auto-connection mode after a boot of the access point, and while operating in the auto-connection mode, the access point may identify a station by retrieving attribute information carried by a probe request that is output from the station. The access point may compare the retrieved attribute information to one or more criteria attributes, and if the retrieved attribute information associated with the station matches the one or more criteria attributes, the access point may be placed into a secure setup mode. While the access point is in the secure setup mode, the station from which the probe request was received may be paired with the access point.

Abstract: A printed circuit board, and a method of fabricating the printed circuit board is disclosed. The printed circuit board includes at least one coaxial via. A hollow via is disposed in the printed circuit board. A metal sleeve is formed around the circumference of said hollow via. An inner conductive path is disposed in the hollow via. Additionally, an insulating material is disposed in the hollow via, between the conducting path and the metal sleeve. The conductive path is used to connect signal traces disposed on two different layers of the printed circuit board. In some embodiments, these signal traces carry signals having a frequency above 1 GHz, although the disclosure is not limited to this embodiment.
