  • Publication number: 20220163242
Abstract: The present disclosure is related to nested cooling and heating systems. The cooling system includes an outer cooling assembly with an inner cooling assembly inserted within the outer cooling system. The inner cooling assembly includes thermoelectric coolers, and the outer cooling assembly may thermoelectric or vapor compression driven. Additional intermediate cooling assemblies may be nested together with the inner and outer cooling assemblies to increase the cooling effect in the innermost cooling assembly. Similarly, the heating system uses nested thermoelectric heating assemblies, and hot temperatures can be increased by adding intermediate nested heating assemblies.

  • Publication number: 20220101451
Abstract: Today crowdsourcing consists of activities which may involve large numbers of individuals but there is no social aspect to the crowdsourcing activities and poor visibility of the crowdsourced results by others. Embodiments of the invention provide an online portal supporting both mobile and non-mobile users with social media and social network visibility of the crowdsourcing being undertaken/requested by others. Such crowdsourcing may also be inventivised by either the generator of the crowdsourced microactions or third parties who are independent of the generator and executer of the crowdsourced activity. Beneficially, the crowdsourcing portal leverages acquiring multimedia content or a user's geolocation in mobile environments to provide part of the completion process for a crowdsourced activity.

  • Publication number: 20210341400
Abstract: Systems and methods for interpreting high-energy interactions on a sample are described in this application. In particular, this application describes an analysis method that comprises impinging radiation from a source on an analyte, detecting the energy interactions resulting from the impinging radiation using a radiation detector, adjusting the signal from the radiation detector using a machine learning module to emphasize specific parts of the detector signal, training the machine learning module in a supervised or unsupervised manner, producing quantitative and qualitative models using the machine leaning module, and then applying the machine learning module to additional energy interactions. The signal received by the detector can be preprocessed to emphasize specific parts of the detector signal, which is then mapped to a machine learning module for training in a supervised or unsupervised manner.

A retaining plug is adapted to traverse vertically along the plurality of rods, and a main fitting adapted for receiving the bottom retaining ring. A gasket is disposed between the main fitting and the retaining plug. The plurality of rods engage the retaining plug with threads, whereby the retaining plug is positioned vertically between the top retaining ring and the bottom retaining ring by rotational movement of the retaining plug. The main fitting is adapted to attach to a main pipeline, and the main fitting is adapted to receive a riser enclosing the fluid release element. In one example, the main fitting attaches to a main pipeline using a saddle.

  • Publication number: 20210287096
Abstract: The disclosed microtraining techniques improve accuracy of trained neural networks by performing iterative refinement at low learning rates using a relatively short series microtraining steps. A neural network training framework receives the trained neural network along with a second training dataset and set of hyperparameters. The neural network training framework produces a microtrained neural network by adjusting one or more weights of the trained neural network using a lower learning rate to facilitate incremental accuracy improvements without substantially altering the computational structure of the trained neural network. The microtrained neural network may be assessed for changes in accuracy and/or quality. Additional microtraining sessions may be performed on the microtrained neural network to further improve accuracy or quality.
