Abstract: The present disclosure provides a Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Collection Device that comprises a carriage, a hitch, a holding chamber, a powered sweeper, and a funneling component. The carriage moves along a surface. The hitch couples the carriage to an Automated Mobile Robot (AMR) such that the automated robot drives movement of the carriage along the surface. The holding chamber is supported on the carriage and comprises an opening through which debris are passable into the holding chamber. The powered sweeper comprises a movable brush supported on the carriage and is operatively connected to a power supply of the Automated Mobile Robot. The funneling component is located between the movable brush and the holding chamber and is moved by the powered sweeper along surface S such that the debris swept by the movable brush are guided by the funneling component into the opening of the holding chamber.

  • Publication number: 20220341280
Abstract: An expandable packer includes an activatable sealing element locatable in a borehole having a wall and activatable with a reactive fluid. The sealing element includes a swellable metal capable of reacting with the reactive fluid to form a swelled metal and a mechanical element separating the reactive fluid from the swellable metal and operable to cause the reactive fluid to contact the swellable metal such that swellable metal expands into sealing engagement with the wall. A method of forming a seal in a borehole comprising a wall includes locating an expandable packer comprising an activatable sealing element within the borehole, using a mechanical element of the activatable sealing element to cause a reactive fluid to contact a swellable metal, and expanding the swellable metal into sealing engagement with the wall by reacting the swellable metal with the reactive fluid.

  • Patent number: 11390335
Abstract: A system and apparatus for increasing the safety of motor vehicles traveling at high speeds in the rearward direction is provided. An air dam hingedly secured to the aft end of a vehicle may remain in a stowed position while the motor vehicle is traveling in a forward direction so as not to interfere with aerodynamic performance. When a motor vehicle begins to enter a spin, the air dam may deploy and increase the downward force on the vehicle and as well as act as an air brake, thereby reducing the likelihood of the aft end of the vehicle lifting from the surface during a spin-out at high speeds.

  • Patent number: 11301267
Abstract: A system has a processor and a memory accessible by the processor and storing instructions, that when executed by the processor, cause the processor to generate a graphical user interface (GUI) for display on a display device. The GUI may include a job management dashboard that has multiple graphical icons that are representative of respective jobs associated with a client instance. The processor may receive one or more user inputs indicative of a selection of a particular graphical icon in the job management dashboard and transmit an update to GUI to the display device. The updated GUI may include a job overview window associated with a particular job, and the job overview window may display a graph of multiple run times associated with the particular job over a period of time.

  • Patent number: 11243911
Abstract: A device and method for providing a fault-tolerant file system. The fault-tolerant file system attempts to minimize the number of writes used when updating file system data structures. In one embodiment, file system data, including file system metadata, is stored in a fault-tolerant tree including a working state and a transacted state. In one embodiment, a change list is used to track blocks that have been updated, instead of cascading updates to leaf nodes up the tree, and a delta block is used to further minimize block updates when adding or removing nodes from the tree. In one embodiment, a Q-Block is used to prevent cycles when adding and removing free blocks from an allocation tree. Metadata values are stored in the tree in a way that allows certain metadata values to be inferred when not present in the tree, thus conserving space and lowering query time.
