  • Publication number: 20240126537
Abstract: An embodiment includes a method of computer software update in a managed network that includes endpoints having heterogenous operating systems. The method includes receiving a first update configured modify a first application on a first endpoint implementing a first non-Linux-based operating system (OS) and first metadata associated therewith. The method includes generating a first update package based on the first metadata and distributing the first update and the first update package to the first endpoint. The method includes accessing a product update list identifying a second application in an unpatched state on the second endpoint implementing a Linux-based OS and repository information of a repository device. Based on the repository information, the method includes accessing the second update and second metadata associated therewith. • Publication number: 20230171166
Abstract: An embodiment includes a method of real-time, endpoint-specific SLA compliance evaluation in a managed network. The method includes receiving SLA definition input that indicates an SLA definition of the managed network. Responsive to detection of a trigger event, the method includes initiating a scan of endpoints including retrieval of endpoint-level state data. The method includes identifying a portion of the retrieved state data relevant to the SLA definition. The method includes aggregating the portions of the retrieved state data. The method includes determining whether the managed network is SLA compliant at an endpoint-level of granularity based on the aggregated portions. Responsive to the managed network being noncompliant, the method includes identifying a subset of endpoints failing to meet the SLA definition and implementing a product modification process to address a metric of the SLA definition and change a product to bring the first endpoint into compliance.

  • Publication number: 20220263854
Abstract: An embodiment includes a method of vulnerability detection and mitigation in a managed network. The method includes receiving a defined state of a product on a managed endpoint of a managed network. The method includes detecting a trigger event in the managed network. The trigger event is indicative of a change to the managed device or to the product that is inconsistent with the defined state. Responsive to detection of the trigger event, the method includes automatically implementing a product modification process. The product modification process includes distribution of at least one product update to a product installed at the managed endpoint.

  • Patent number: 10529995
Abstract: A receptacle in the body of a missile includes a plurality of electrical contacts connected to one or more electrically powered devices within the missile and configured to connect to an electrical power source. The receptacle receives a removable and reusable battery pack including connectors contacting the plurality of electrical contacts when the battery pack is mounted within the receptacle and one or more non-chemical, squibless batteries, preferably comprised of high power density primary cell lithium metal oxide cells. An interface circuit coupled to the squibless batteries initiates, terminates, and re-initiates delivery of electrical power from the squibless batteries to the plurality of electrical contacts based on a control input. Transportation, storage, and use risks associated with squibs in chemical batteries are avoided.

  • Patent number: 10461347
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems for real-time monitoring and automated intervention of a power generation. Embodiments may include receiving operating data from components of the power generation system. A potential failure condition for the components may be determined from real-time operating data of the received operating data before an occurrence of the potential failure condition. An alert may be issued in response to determining the real-time operating data indicates a potential failure condition, and instructions for remedying the potential failure condition may be transmitted to the power generation system. An algorithm for determining whether the real-time operating data indicates the potential failure condition may be updated by using preceding operating data in response to detecting the potential failure condition.
