Patent number: 9352187Abstract: An exercise device employing side-by-side pivotally supported moving surfaces. In one example, an exercise device employs a first pivotable treadle assembly including a first moving surface, a first foot platform extending outwardly from a side of the first treadle assembly, and a second pivotable treadle assembly including a second moving surface. In some implementations, the exercise device includes a resistance element operably coupled to at least one of the first treadle assembly or the second treadle assembly to resist movement of the at least one of the first treadle assembly or the second treadle assembly. In some implementations, the exercise device includes an adjustment mechanism for adjusting a slope of at least one of the first treadle assembly or the second treadle assembly.Type: GrantFiled: May 20, 2014Date of Patent: May 31, 2016Assignee: Nautilus, Inc.Inventors: Gary Piaget, Brent Christopher, Brian R. Publication number: 20160083651Abstract: In a method of treating a particulate landscaping material, the material is fed into a mixing chamber and an additive mixture including a functional additive and a carrier is delivered to spray nozzles within the mixing chamber. At least one of the spray nozzles is operated to direct an atomized spray into the mixing chamber. The material is agitated within the mixing chamber during and/or after directing the atomized spray into the mixing chamber. The material is then conveyed with the additive mixture applied thereto to a mixing chamber outlet. During these steps, a volumetric flow rate of the particulate landscape material through the mixing chamber is intermittently determined. The determined volumetric flow rate is intermittently compared to a predetermined target flow rate of the particulate landscape material. Based on this comparison, the volumetric flow rate of the particulate landscape material through the mixing chamber is adjusted.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 30, 2015Publication date: March 24, 2016Inventors: Laura Beth Phillips, Brent Christopher Packer, David Chamberlain Roller, Richard Alan Moffitt, JR., Douglas Edward Grunder

Patent number: 9235449Abstract: A network element has at least one receiver, a software queue, and at least one transmitter. A data path thread moves data packets from a receive queue of the receiver to the software queue, and a transmit driver moves data packets from the software queue to a transmit queue of the transmitter. A flow indicator associated with the software queue is controlled to indicate when at least one data packet remains in the software queue. A queue management thread polls the flow indicator to determine when the software queue should be accessed for ensuring that data packets do not remain in the software queue for extended time periods between data bursts.Type: GrantFiled: June 22, 2012Date of Patent: January 12, 2016Assignee: ADTRAN, Inc.Inventors: Coleman D. Bagwell, Brent Christopher Priddy, Walter Martin Steverson

Patent number: 9114509Abstract: A ratcheting wrench includes a handle and a working end. A body is combined to the working end of the handle for rotation with respect to the working end around a first axis. A pawl couples the working end of the handle to the body for one-way rotation of the body around the first axis. A removable insert is coupled to the body for rotation with respect to the body around a second axis that is perpendicular to the first axis. A catch assembly selectively couples the insert to the body, so that the insert can be removed.Type: GrantFiled: February 14, 2013Date of Patent: August 25, 2015Assignee: Meridian International Co., Ltd.Inventors: Dominic Lovely, Anthony Kriz, Brent Christopher
