  • Patent number: 10445767
Abstract: An embodiment may involve receiving input information related to an offered product or service, two or more layouts of a print advertisement for the offered product or service, demographics of potential buyers of the offered product or service, and online behavior of the potential buyers. The information may be normalized into a predefined schema for a machine-learning-based recommendation engine operated by a computing device. The embodiment may further involve determining respective selections of the two or more layouts for the potential buyers. The machine-learning-based recommendation engine may select a layout for a potential buyer based on the offered product or service, content and organization of the layout, demographics of the potential buyer, and online behavior of the potential buyer. The embodiment may also involve transmitting, to a printing system, one or more output files representing the offered product or service, the layout, and the potential buyer.

  • Patent number: 9712796
Abstract: Methods and systems for color grading video content are presented. A component (e.g. a frame, a shot and/or a scene) of the video content is designated to be a master component and one or more other components of the video content are designated to be slave components, each slave component associated with the master component. A master component color grading operation is performed to the master component. For each one of the slave components, the master component color grading operation is performed to the slave component and a slave color grading operation that is specific to the one of the slave components is also performed. Metadata, which form part of the video content, are created to provide indicators on to whether components of the video are designated as master or slave components.

  • Patent number: 9553620
Abstract: A method and system for detecting and characterizing an input signal receive a signal having an in-phase (I) component and a quadrature-phase (Q) component. A first IQ sample of the signal is acquired at a first point in time, and a second IQ sample of the signal is acquired at a second point in time, Using one or more processors, a delayed complex conjugate multiply (DCM) is applied to the first IQ sample of the signal and the second IQ sample of the signal to produce a constant product having an in-phase (IC) component and a quadrature-phase (QC) component. A signal magnitude and a signal frequency are determined from the IC component of the constant and the QC component of the constant, using the one or more processors.

  • Patent number: 8471404
Abstract: A current limited system for providing a burst current capability comprises a variable load having a first mode of operation requiring a first current level and a burst current mode of operation requiring a second current level. The second current level is greater than the first current level. A control processor provides control signals for the current limited system. A voltage source is connected to the variable load to provide a source current. The source current provides the variable load the first current level in the first mode of operation. A burst mode circuit provides the second current level to the variable load in the burst current mode of operation, responsive to the control signals from the control processor and the voltage source.
