  • Publication number: 20210267613
Abstract: An obstruction removal device is configured to be inserted through a catheter and at least partially extended into a vasculature from a distal end of the catheter. The obstruction removal device includes: a base member configured to engage one or more guide stops at the distal end of the catheter; a tubular member coupled to the base member and configured to apply a suction force from the catheter to an obstruction to remove the obstruction from the vasculature; and an expandable member surrounding the tubular member. The expandable member is configured to transition from a contracted state to an expanded state after the expandable member is at least partially extended into the vasculature from the distal end of the catheter. The expandable member is further configured to at least partially surround the obstruction as the obstruction is being removed from the vasculature.

  • Publication number: 20210165873
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to managing sandboxed application extensions. A first request that include includes information that identifies an extension may be provided to an extension server. Information included in a first response may be employed to instantiate an extension shell that corresponds to the extension and embed it in the hosting application such that the extension shell is associated with a first security policy included in the first response. A second request may be provided to the extension server based on information included in the extension shell such that the second request includes an identifier associated with an extension body that corresponds to the extension shell. The first security policy or the second security policy may be employed to enable one or more of the extension shell or the extension body to just access the hosting application or just access the extension server.

  • Patent number: 11014431
Abstract: A vehicle thermal management system including a refrigerant circuit, a coolant circuit, a chiller, and a controller is provided. The refrigerant circuit may include an electric air conditioning (eAC) compressor and a pressure sensor. The coolant circuit may include a high-voltage battery. The chiller selectively thermally links the circuits. The controller may be programmed to, responsive to receipt of a sensor signal indicating refrigerant pressure exiting the eAC compressor is greater than a high threshold, output a pressure sensor fault error indicating the pressure sensor is faulty. The system may further include a timer to monitor operational timing of the eAC compressor. The controller may be further programmed to direct the system to operate without monitoring the eAC compressor responsive to the timer indicating the eAC compressor has been off for a time-period less than a time threshold reflective of the eAC compressor not being in an at rest state.

  • Patent number: 10809122
Abstract: Shelves or other fixtures may be used to support items at a facility. Weighing modules including load cells may be used at the fixtures to acquire weight data indicative of changes to the fixture as items are added or removed from the fixture. Weighing modules may be modular and repositionable with respect to a crossbar or other supporting member that provides electrical power and data connectivity. This allows for the fixtures to be easily reconfigured to accommodate items of different sizes.

  • Publication number: 20200214728
Abstract: In embodiments of an obstruction removal device, system, and/or method, a removal tool is disposed at a distal end of a delivery tool and configured to at least partially separate an obstruction from an inner surface of a vasculature. An expandable member is also coupled to the delivery tool. The expandable member includes a proximal end that is free or slidably coupled to the delivery tool. The proximal end of the expandable member is configured to invert or slide toward a distal end of the expandable member, thereby causing the expandable member to surround at least a portion of the obstruction and the removal tool so that the obstruction is captured between the expandable member and the removal tool, when the delivery tool is withdrawn from the vasculature to remove the removal tool and the obstruction from the vasculature.

  • Patent number: 10687834
Abstract: An ischemic stroke device includes a telescoping member, a first or proximal expandable member connected to the telescoping support member, and a second or distal expandable member connected to the first expandable member. A proximal portion of the first expandable member is attached to a distal end of an outer shaft of the telescoping support member, and a distal end of the first expandable member is attached to a distal portion of an inner core wire of the telescoping support member. The proximal end of the second expandable member is permanently joined to the distal end of the inner core wire. The first expandable member everts to cover the second expandable member that is used to capture an obstruction or clot, prior to pulling the obstruction or clot into a catheter for removal from a patient's vasculature.

  • Patent number: 10679181
Abstract: An inventory location, such as a shelf, may be used to stow different items. The shelf is divided into a plurality of adjacent lanes, some of which may be grouped into a cluster. Items are placed upon the lanes of the cluster. Each lane includes one or more weight sensors to obtain weight data about a load on the lane. Based on the weight data and physical layout data for the shelf, one or more hypotheses may be determined for describing interactions, such as a pick or place of an item, occurring at the lanes of a cluster. One of the hypotheses may be selected as a solution for describing the interaction and used to maintain inventory quantities of items at the shelf.

  • Publication number: 20200155180
Abstract: In embodiments of an obstruction removal device, system, and/or method, an expandable member is configured to be slidably coupled to a guide wire. The expandable member is configured to surround at least a portion of an obstruction captured by a stentriever as the expandable member transitions from the expanded state to the contracted state, i.e., when the guide wire is removed from a vasculature to remove the stentriever and the obstruction from the vasculature. A first locking member is located at a base of the expandable member. The first locking member is configured to engage a second locking member that is located on the guide wire, the stentriever, or an inner surface of a guide catheter, thereby coupling the expandable member to the guide wire, the stentriever, or the inner surface of the guide catheter when the expandable member is deployed within the vasculature.

  • Publication number: 20200069417
Abstract: A prosthetic heart valve includes a collapsible stent and a valve assembly disposed within the stent. A first cuff is disposed adjacent the stent. A second cuff having a distal edge facing the outflow end of the stent is disposed about the stent radially outward of the first cuff and the stent. The stent may include a plurality of fingers each having a first end coupled to a corresponding cell of the stent and a free end adapted to extend radially outward of the corresponding cell. The distal edge of the second cuff may be coupled to the fingers at spaced locations around the circumference of the stent to position the distal edge radially outward from the corresponding cells at the spaced locations. Various stent struts may be tapered to reduce the stent circumference in the collapsed condition, and to improve the fatigue resistance and/or bendability of the stent.
