  • Patent number: 9275132
Abstract: A user interface of an entity-centric knowledge discovery system presents an entity profile including a mix of structured and unstructured data relating to an entity. As a user refines the entity profile based on information gathered from various sources, the changing entity profile can be used as a substantially continuously updating query to search, retrieve, and rank new and pertinent information specifically relevant to the profiled entity. The platform described herein provide an active loop for refining an entity description and searching for additional information in which human input and machine-based algorithms can cooperate to more quickly build a comprehensive description of an entity of interest.

  • Publication number: 20150367594
Abstract: A first polymer latex and second polymer latex can be mixed to form a dried primer layer on a substrate to adhere patterned materials having fine lines. The first polymer latex comprises a first polymer and a first surfactant such that a dried coating of the first polymer latex has a surface polarity of at least 50%. The second polymer latex comprises a second polymer and a second surfactant such that a dried coating of the second polymer latex has a surface polarity of less than or equal to 27%. Moreover, a dried coating of the mixture has a surface polarity of at least 15% and up to and including 50%. Primed substrates are useful for preparing electrically-conductive articles having electrically-conductive fine lines directly on a dried primer layer by applying a patterned material to a substrate. Such articles can be used as touch screen displays in various electronic devices.

  • Publication number: 20150355786
Abstract: In one mode of an interface, a bounded area is displayed on a mobile device. A straight line is displayed that divides the bounded area into first and second areas. An angle of the line indicates an orientation of a first axis of the mobile device relative to a respective vector. In response to detecting the change in orientation of the second axis of the device relative to the vector, while maintaining the angle of the line at a first angle, a relative size of the first and second areas is changed in accordance with the change in orientation of the second axis. In a second mode, first and second bounded shapes are displayed. Positions of the bounded shapes with respect to each other are changed along one or more axes in response to a change in orientation of a surface of the mobile device relative to a respective vector.
