The insert minimizes electrical contact between the metal housing and wires or other conductive objects contained within the metal housing. The insert comprises an electrically insulating material, and includes an insulating sleeve having side walls, top and bottom opposite open ends, and a threaded bushing attached around a hole through one side wall of the sleeve. The bushing engages a strain relief wire connector or hollow bolt of the magnetic valve, which wire connector contains wires passing into the housing to form electrical connections with the magnetic core of the valve. The insert also preferably includes an insulating flange around the perimeter of the top open end of the sleeve to thereby further insulate the housing, and to provide a seal between the housing and an optional covering.

Abstract: A firearm accessory modification to a removable or fixed scope mount of a firearm or a removable or fixed top cover of a firearm. The modification consists of strategically located and drilled holes through a removable or fixed scope mount or drilling holes through a mounting block attached to a removable or fixed top cover. Purpose of said drilled holes is to allow the use of conventional push-pin style brass-catchers, push-pin style flashlights, and/or lasers.

Abstract: A device for catching and holding spent cartridges ejected from a conventional AR-15, M16, AR-10, or similar type rifle. The device consists of a steel frame with a cloth bag and two mounting pins that removably attach to a mount connected to the rifle. This positions said bag adjacent to the rifle's ejection port to catch spent cartridges during firing of the weapon.
