  • Publication number: 20230223739
Abstract: A layered pulse generator for a vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (“VCSEL”) driver is disclosed consisting of three elements: a low-speed pulse generator, a high-speed pulse generator, and a pulse generator selector, all of which are on-chip with the VCSEL driver. By providing these elements on-chip, overall system power and complexity are reduced while allowing for significantly higher pulse train frequencies compared with known systems. The high-speed pulse generator is capable of generating pulses faster and with higher resolution than that of the low-speed pulse generator. The high-speed pulse generator uses multiple clock outputs, phase shifted, and synthesized into a single pulse waveform capable of wide-ranging frequencies, duty cycles and pulse counts.

  • Patent number: 11410190
Abstract: A system for calculating energy pricing includes a variety of categories and subcategories of user-selectable preconfigured profiles to derive a detailed, accurate energy profile based on minimal price request information. This profile defines the energy load being priced and its accuracy approaches that which is obtainable through using meter data, but without the need for obtaining and managing such data. The system quickly and accurately calculates both current day and historical pricing based on a single price request by processing the effective dates of time dependent variables, inputs, algorithms, and/or parameters. Managing these effective dates ensures the price output takes into account ongoing market changes in supply, distribution, and/or tax price factors that are known as of the date of the price request and take effect during the future contract term defined by the price request.

  • Patent number: 11313903
Abstract: A force-sense system can provide signals to, or receive signals from, a device under test (DUT) at a first DUT node. The system can include output buffer circuitry configured to provide a DUT signal to the DUT in response to a force control signal at a buffer control node, and controller circuitry configured to provide the force control signal at the buffer control node. The system can include bypass circuitry configured to selectively bypass the controller circuitry and provide an auxiliary control signal at the buffer control node. The auxiliary control signal can be used for system calibration. In an example, an external calibration circuit can provide the auxiliary control signal in response to information received from the DUT.
