  • Publication number: 20170147338
Abstract: A computer system, method, or computer-readable medium controls a potentially unacceptable software component intended for a software repository. A pre-defined application or repository policy associated with the repository or application pre-defines risks and, for each of the risks, an action to take for the risk. The action can be a pass action or a does-not-pass action, which are pre-defined programmatic steps also defined in the policy. When the component is not new to the repository or the application, the component is passed through for the usual handling. When the component is new, risks are determined that match the software component; for risks which match, the actions are taken as defined in the pre-defined policy. The pass action can include adding the software component to the software repository. The does-not-pass action is followed for a component that does not pass as a potentially unacceptable software component.

  • Patent number: 9128153
Abstract: A method for testing a set of circuitry in an integrated circuit (IC) is described. The IC includes multiple configurable circuits for configurably performing multiple operations. The method configures the IC to operate in a user mode with a set of test paths that satisfies a set of evaluation criteria. Each test path includes a controllable storage element for controllably storing a signal that the storage element receives. The method operates the IC in user mode. The method reads the values stored in the storage elements to determine whether the set of circuitry is operating within specified performance limits.

  • Publication number: 20140122306
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for obtaining verified financial statements associated with a client. An accountant provides or approves financial statements associated with a client to a confirmation system via a communications network. The client provides permissions for the financial statements to the confirmation system via the communications network and identifies at least one lending institution. The confirmation system queries the database of licensed certified public accountants to determine whether the accountant is currently licensed as a certified public accountant. The confirmation system provides the financial statements to the lending institution or financial statement user upon determining that the accountant is a certified public accountant and confirming the financial information in the financial statements.

  • Patent number: 8543475
Abstract: Systems and methods are defined for facilitating the factoring process involving a business client, one or more factors, and a third-party (i.e., a debtor doing business with the business client) providing confirmations for the accounts receivables upon the client's request. The client requests confirmation of accounts receivables from a confirmation system, the confirmation system queries the debtor(s) for confirmation of their accounts payable to the client, and the confirmation system provides completed accounts receivables to one or more factors designated by the client (i.e., initially provided to the confirmation system with the accounts receivable data that initiates the confirmation process).

  • Patent number: 8510185
Abstract: Systems and methods are defined for facilitating the audit process involving a business client, an auditor, and a third-party providing confirmations for the client upon the auditor's request. An auditor receives an audit number, electronically captured signature, or physical signature from the audited client as evidence of authorization for requesting confirmation from a third-party, such as a bank or related business entity. The confirmation request submitted by the auditor will be stored in a network-based computer system (i.e., confirmation system) and transmitted to the relevant third-party. The third-party responder then provides necessary confirmation response data or the confirmation system retrieves the response data from a computer of the responder using credentials of the client. The involved third-party can be a bank or financial institution, another entity in business relationship with the client, or any other entity that has access to the requested data associated with the client.

  • Patent number: 8484105
Abstract: A system and method facilitates the audit process involving a business client, an auditor, and a third-party by providing confirmations for the client upon the auditor's request. An auditor or requestor receives an audit number from the audited client as evidence of authorization for requesting confirmation from a third-party, such as a legal professional. The confirmation request submitted by the requestor will be stored in a network-based computer confirmation system and transmitted to the relevant third-party responder. The third-party then provides necessary confirmation data (i.e., response data) to the confirmation system which forwards a completed confirmation to the auditor. The involved third-party can be a bank or financial institution, another entity in business relationship with the client, or any other entity that has access to the requested data associated with the client, such as a legal professional.

  • Publication number: 20130171130
Abstract: A soluble receptor to IL-20 having two polypeptide subunits, IL-20RA (formerly called ZcytoR7) and IL-20RB (formerly called DIRS1). The two subunits are preferably linked together. In one embodiment one subunit is fused to the constant region of the light chain of an immunoglobulin, and the other subunit is fused to the constant region of the heavy chain of the immunoglobulin. The light chain and the heavy chain are connected via a disulfide bond.

  • Patent number: 8442880
Abstract: Systems and methods are defined for facilitating the audit process involving a business client, an auditor, and a third-party providing confirmations for the client upon the auditor's request. More specifically, an auditor receives an audit number from the audited client as evidence of authorization for requesting confirmation from a third-party, such as a bank or related business entity. The confirmation request submitted by the auditor will be stored in a network-based computer system and transmitted to the relevant third-party. The third-party then provides necessary confirmation data in response to the request and has the confirmation data transferred to the auditor through the computer system over the Internet. The involved third-party can be a bank or financial institution, another entity in business relationship with the client, or any other entity that ahs access to the requested data associated with the client.

  • Patent number: 8389780
Abstract: The invention is directed to polyalphaolefins (PAOs) and processes for forming PAOs. In one embodiment, the invention is to a process for forming a PAO comprising polymerizing C8-C12 ?-olefin monomers in the presence of hydrogen, a C8-C12 saturated hydrocarbon, e.g., a C8-C12 saturated straight-chain hydrocarbon, and a catalyst system in a reaction vessel, wherein the C8-C12 saturated straight-chain hydrocarbon has about the same number of carbon atoms as the C8-C12 ?-olefin monomers. The C8-C12 saturated straight-chain hydrocarbon optionally is derived from a crude PAO product formed by the process of the invention. The invention is also directed to reaction systems for performing the processes of the invention, to processes for controlling PAO viscosity based on residence time, and to the removal of spent catalyst using a solid adsorbent particles.
