  • Publication number: 20210232306
Abstract: A computer implemented system for providing content to a device based upon the location of the device. A captive portal is provided via a vendor network for display on a device screen. Distinct first and second gestures are used to navigate access, they may include, swipes, to the left, to the right, upwards, downwards, arcuate or circular clockwise or arcuate or circular anticlockwise gestures. The first user gesture on the screen provides the device with access to additional information relevant to the content page, and a second user gesture on the screen causes the access management system to remove content page from the screen, such that after step (i), the device is provided with internet access via the vendor network or is shown n additional content pages displayed sequentially and after step (ii) the device is provided with internet access via the vendor network or is shown n additional content pages then is provided with internet access via the vendor network.

  • Patent number: 10521407
Abstract: A computing device analyzes the transaction entries in a transaction log to identify related commands associated with performing a set of data operations. Commands are considered to be potentially related if the commands are executed within a predetermined timespan. Sets of potentially related commands are then grouped together into corresponding candidate patterns, and further analyzed in view of additional information to determine a probability that the potentially related commands of a candidate pattern are actually related. A confidence value indicating that probability is also determined. Application management tasks, such as database optimization and recovery tasks, for example, may then be performed based on the candidate patterns that meet or exceed a predetermined threshold.

  • Patent number: 10086222
Abstract: A method of conditioning oxygen depleted air (ODA) exhausted from a fuel cell comprising the steps of; taking fuel from an aircraft fuel tank collector cell, delivering said fuel to a rear mounted engine via a primary heat exchanger, taking exhaust ODA from a fuel cell, passing the ODA through the primary heat exchanger in the opposite direction to the fuel, such that the fuel acts as a heat sink for the ODA, to cool the ODA, passing the ODA through a dryer, to dry the ODA and using the cooled, dried ODA to inert fuel in the aircraft fuel tank.

  • Patent number: 10037647
Abstract: A charger vending assembly includes a housing that may be positioned on a support surface. A vending unit is movably positioned within the housing and the vending unit contains a plurality of chargers. The vending unit selectively dispenses a selected number of the chargers outwardly from the housing. In this way the selected number of chargers may be used to charge an electronic device. A control unit is coupled to the housing and the control unit is selectively manipulated. The control unit is electrically coupled to the vending unit such that the control unit controls operational parameters of the vending unit. The vending unit dispenses the selected chargers in accordance with commands from the control unit.

  • Patent number: 9912765
Abstract: A network system for providing content to a mobile computing device of a user based upon the location of the mobile computing device. A wireless internet access point provides access to a single vendor web site such that upon connecting the wireless internet access points to the user's mobile computing device, a processor determines whether the device is associated with a user and if so, said device is directed to the landing page of the vendor web site when the user mobile computing device's device location is within a predetermined proximity to the wireless internet access point of that vendor.

  • Patent number: 9645171
Abstract: A traveling wave detector and method of traveling wave signal detection employ a plurality of detector diodes connected according to different polarities with respect to adjacent ones of the detector diodes. The traveling wave detector includes a transmission line having an input end and a terminal end and the plurality of detector diodes connected as stated above and spaced apart along the transmission line. The traveling wave detector further includes a plurality of direct current (DC) blocks to define a series conduction path. The method of traveling wave signal detection includes rectifying a received incident signal using the traveling wave detector to produce a video signal at each of the detector diodes and summing the video signals along the series conduction path to produce an output video signal.

  • Publication number: 20160321688
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that provide a credit card payment incentive system. The incentive system incentivizes a credit card member to pay down an outstanding balance quicker than it would typically be paid by making minimum payments against the outstanding balance. A financial system computing system is configured to receive payment data, which it parses to determine a payment amount made by the credit card member against the outstanding balance. The computing system reviews the payment amount against a minimum payment due to determine whether the payment amount qualifies as a qualified payment for purposes of applying a statement credit against the outstanding balance. If the payment amount qualifies as the qualified payment, the statement credit is applied against the outstanding balance.
