  • Patent number: 10834576
Abstract: A system is described that can perform a method for providing a first mobile network operator system with information relating to configuration data. The configuration data enables management of content and memory allocation for security domain containers of a universal integrated circuit card of a communication device. Security management of the universal integrated circuit card is delegated by providing the configuration data to a second mobile network operator system to enable management of the content and the memory allocation for the security domain containers. The memory allocation is adjusted by the second network mobile operator system according to a second group of services provided to the communication device.

  • Publication number: 20200307130
Abstract: Provided is a method for manufacturing photoabsorbing contact lenses and photoabsorbing contact lenses produced thereby. The method comprises: (a) providing a mold assembly comprised of a base curve and a front curve, the base curve and the front curve defining and enclosing a cavity therebetween, the cavity containing a reactive mixture, wherein the reactive mixture comprises at least one polymerizable monomer, a photoinitiator which absorbs at an activating wavelength, and a photoabsorbing compound which displays absorption at the activating wavelength; and (b) curing the reactive mixture to form the photoabsorbing contact lens by exposing the reactive mixture to radiation that includes the activating wavelength, wherein the radiation is directed at both the base curve and the front curve of the mold assembly, and wherein the radiation's radiant energy at the base curve is greater than the radiation's radiant energy at the front curve.

  • Patent number: 10681666
Abstract: Coarse location estimation for mobile devices is disclosed for detecting mobile device presence at general locations of interest and switching operating modes and services for one or more location context aware applications. In some implementations, sensor data is received from a plurality of data sources at a location. For each data source, a first probability is estimated that the mobile device is at the location based on sensor data from the data sources. A second probability is estimated that the mobile device is not at the location based on sensor data from the data sources. The first and second estimated probabilities are statistically combined to generate a third estimated probability that the mobile device is at the location.

  • Publication number: 20200000952
Abstract: A sterilization system includes a communication hub that is configured to transfer information between devices of the system such as a sterilizing cabinet, biological indicator analyzer, and a server in order to allow a user to track a medical device throughout a sterilization process. The server may provide data to the sterilizing cabinet during a sterilization process that may be used to verify that the medical device is compatible with the sterilizing cabinet, and to automatically select a compatible sterilization cycle to perform on the medical device. Automatic selection of sterilization cycles and confirmation of compatibility reduces the possibility for user error, which could result in contaminated medical devices being placed back into service. Automatic selection of sterilization cycles also allows users to more efficiently configure and perform sterilization cycles while being confident that the medical device will be sterile upon completion.

  • Patent number: 10459886
Abstract: Techniques and mechanisms described herein facilitate the transmission of a data stream from a client device to a networked storage system. According to various embodiments, a fingerprint for a data chunk may be identified by applying a hash function to the data chunk via a processor. The data chunk may be determined by parsing a data stream at the client device. A determination may be made as to whether the data chunk is stored in a chunk file repository at the client device. A block map update request message including information for updating a block map may be transmitted to a networked storage system via a network. The block map may identify a designated memory location at which the chunk is stored at the networked storage system.
