  • Patent number: 10534756
Abstract: Systems and methods are described to provide consistent cross-reference between electronic documents from distributed storage servers. A first document server may receive a query relating to a first document referencing a second document. The first document is stored on the first document server, and the second document is stored on a second document server. The first document server may obtain data relating to a copy of the second document associated with a revision number. The first document server may then send, to the second document server, an update request including the revision number, and then receive from the second document server, data relating to operations that have been committed to the second document after a time associated with the revision number.

  • Patent number: 10475269
Abstract: A method for creating a secure document, registering the secure document and verifying the authenticity of the secure document includes receiving a print object that has content. A security feature, including an identifier, is created and is associated with the content. The identifier may be a barcode. The barcode may represent a character string. The security feature may include the identifier barcode and a decoy barcode that is not associated with the content. The identifier barcode (or the character string represented by the barcode) and the content are transmitted to a database for storage. Once stored, the identifier and the content are considered to be registered. A print object that includes the security feature and the content is then transmitted to a printer for printing.

  • Patent number: 10438169
Abstract: A document collaboration system allows applications to collaborate on a binary data file even if the binary data file is not in a collaborative document format. In response to a request from an application to access a binary data file, the document collaboration system gives the application access to a document model corresponding to the binary data file and the application. If the document model does not already exist, it may be created by generating an empty document model, transmitting the binary data file to the application, and allowing the application to fill in the empty document model based on the binary data file. The document model may be provided to and modified by its related application through an application programming interface (API), and changes to the document model may be applied to the binary data file.

  • Publication number: 20190278612
Abstract: State machine engines are disclosed, including those having an inter-rank bus control system, which may include a register. The state machine engine may include a plurality of configurable elements, such that each of the plurality of configurable elements comprises a plurality of memory cells. These cells may analyze data and output a result of the analysis. The IR bus control system may halt a write operation of data to be analyzed by the cells based, at least in part, on one or more conditions.

  • Patent number: 10394765
Abstract: A method for saving a file stored on a third-party system to a cloud storage system includes receiving, at a cloud storage server of the cloud storage system, a save request from the third party system. The save request is generated in response to a user selecting, via a user interface presented on a client computer, the file from a plurality of files stored on the third-party system, the file to be saved to the cloud storage server. The save request comprises a file identifier of the file and information identifying the user. The information identifying the user allows access to a user account of the user on the cloud storage system without use of the client computer as intermediary service, and the third-party system stores the file associated with the file identifier. The method further includes authenticating the save request, based at least in part on the information identifying the user, creating a copy of the file at the cloud storage server, and associating the copy of the file with the user.

  • Publication number: 20190238475
Abstract: An encoding or transcoding system uses hypothetical reference decoder occupancy data to at least calculate parameters for output buffers for data streams. An output thread receives HRD buffer occupancy data and calculates buffer occupancy based on duration, rather than absolute occupancy, and correlates the HRD buffer occupancy data with target durations for buffered packets prior to release from the buffer.

  • Publication number: 20190192911
Abstract: A system and method for automatically trimming and reclassifying workout data is disclosed. The system receives data associated with a workout of a user from at least one sensor associated with the user, the workout being classified as a first type of workout. The system processes the data to identify at least one time interval during the workout that does not correspond to the first workout type. The system prompts the user to select whether to remove or reclassify a subset of the data that is associated with the identified time interval. If the user chooses to do so, the system removes or reclassifies the subset of the data that is associated with the identified time interval. The system generates and provides workout depictions using the data, at least one of which illustrates only the remaining data that was not removed or reclassified.

  • Publication number: 20190188217
Abstract: A cloud storage system provides remote access to a file associated with the cloud storage system. In response to a request to access the file, the cloud storage system identifies applications available to the request generator and capable of accessing the file, which may include both online web-based applications and applications installed on a device with which the user is accessing the file. The cloud storage system determines an application type of an identified application, and provides file access to the identified application based on the application type.

  • Publication number: 20190186361
Abstract: A recuperator includes a monolithic heat exchanger core having a first side proximal to a combustor inlet and a turbine outlet, and a second side that includes an exhaust outlet. A compressed air inlet is located on the second side, and a compressed air outlet is located on the first side. The compressed air outlet supplies air to a combustor. A first plurality of passageways connects the compressed air inlet to the compressed air outlet. A turbine exhaust inlet is located on the first side, and a turbine exhaust outlet is located on the second side. A second plurality of passageways connects the turbine exhaust inlet to the turbine exhaust outlet. The first and second plurality of passageways are defined by parting plates that extend radially outward in a spiral pattern that maintains a substantially equal distance between adjacent parting plates.
