  • Publication number: 20230270505
Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for registration of location sensors. In one aspect, a system includes an instrument and a processor configured to provide a first set of commands to drive the instrument along a first branch of the luminal network, the first branch being outside a path to a target within a model. The processor is also configured to track a set of one or more registration parameters during the driving of the instrument along the first branch and determine that the set of registration parameters satisfy a registration criterion. The processor is further configured to determine a registration between a location sensor coordinate system and a model coordinate system based on location data received from a set of location sensors during the driving of the instrument along the first branch and a second branch.

  • Patent number: 11736349
Abstract: A device associated with a network may provide a subscription request that requests data associated with the network and user equipment connected to the network. The device may receive, based on the subscription request, network congestion data associated with the network, reachability data associated with the user equipment, and location data associated with the user equipment. The device may determine a group of the user equipment based on the network congestion data, the reachability data, and the location data. The device may determine timing for providing firmware to the group based on capabilities of the user equipment in the group. The device may provide segments of the firmware to the network to cause the network to provide the segments of the firmware to the group based on the timing for providing the firmware to the group.

  • Patent number: 11718008
Abstract: A method of detecting and compensating for a non-operational mold cavity in an injection molding apparatus having a plurality of mold cavities and an injection molding screw or ram includes injecting, via the injection molding screw or ram, a molten thermoplastic material into the plurality of mold cavities. The method includes measuring a first process parameter of the injection molding apparatus at a pre-determined time during or after the injecting. The method also includes determining, based on the first process parameter, whether one or more mold cavities of the plurality of mold cavities are non-operational. Then, when it is determined that one or more mold cavities are non-operational, the method includes automatically adjusting the first process parameter or a second process parameter of the injection molding apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20230237308
Abstract: Quantizing tensors and vectors processed within a neural network reduces power consumption and may accelerate processing. Quantization reduces the number of bits used to represent a value, where decreasing the number of bits used can decrease the accuracy of computations that use the value. Ideally, quantization is performed without reducing accuracy. Quantization-aware training (QAT) is performed by dynamically quantizing tensors (weights and activations) using optimal clipping scalars. “Optimal” in that the mean squared error (MSE) of the quantized operation is minimized and the clipping scalars define the degree or amount of quantization for various tensors of the operation. Conventional techniques that quantize tensors during training suffer from high amounts of noise (error). Other techniques compute the clipping scalars offline through a brute force search to provide high accuracy.

  • Patent number: 11711719
Abstract: An application, executed by a User Equipment (“UE”), may receive an identifier, which may be used to monitor Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) associated with the UE. Such KPIs may be monitored in conjunction with execution of the application, such as at times that the application sends and/or receives traffic. The KPIs may be associated with sensor data, resources, and/or other features or functionality of the UE. The UE may obtain an identifier associated with the application and/or the UE from a KPI monitoring system of some embodiments, may obtain user consent to monitor and/or report KPIs associated with the application, and may provide such KPIs to the KPI monitoring system in conjunction with the identifier. The KPI monitoring system may generate aggregated KPI information, associated with the application, based on the KPIs received from the UE and/or KPIs received from one or more other sources.

  • Publication number: 20230211401
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for roll-forming metal substrates. The metal substrates are subjected to induction heating during the roll-forming process by exposure to time-varying magnetic fields, such as by exposure to a rotating permanent magnet, or exposure to laser radiation from a laser source. Heating of the metal substrates allows improved formability or plasticity of the substrate in order to reduce or eliminate damage to the substrate during roll-forming to low bending radius to thickness ratios. Heating of the high-strength metal substrates can also function to temper the substrates and/or improve surface corrosion resistance and form high-strength end products with desirable properties.
