  • Publication number: 20060063763
Abstract: Compounds and compositions are provided that bind to the CXCR3 chemokine receptor and which are useful for treating diseases associated with CXCR3 activity, such as multiple sclerosis.
    Type: Application
    Filed: September 8, 2005
    Publication date: March 23, 2006
Inventors: Thomas Schall, Daniel Dairaghi, Brian McMaster
  • Publication number: 20050256130
Abstract: Compounds are provided that act as potent antagonists of the CCR1 receptor, and have in vivo anti-inflammatory activity. The compounds are generally aryl piperazine derivatives and are useful in pharmaceutical compositions, methods for the treatment of CCR1-mediated diseases, and as controls in assays for the identification of competitive CCR1 antagonists.

  • Publication number: 20050082348
Abstract: The invention is directed to the use of energetic ion bombardment, in vacuum, to a surface of a metal fluoride crystal or optical element to remove contaminants on the surface and/or in micro-fractures. After cleaning, a suitable inert dielectric or metallic material is deposited onto the cleaned surface. A sealing agent is then applied to the inert material and a holder is placed about the entire assembly to hold and seal the metal fluoride element within the assembly. The method of the invention, and adhesion layer materials used in conjunction with the method, can be applied to glass elements as well as to metal fluoride single crystals and optical elements made from such crystals.
    Type: Application
    Filed: August 9, 2004
    Publication date: April 21, 2005
    Inventors: Robert Maier, Brian McMaster
