  • Publication number: 20230028553
Abstract: In an industrial control system (ICS), latent vectors are generated to represent identity or behaviors of host devices coupled to the ICS. A computing system captures communications transmitted by a host device across a network associated with the ICS. A set of values are extracted from one or more respective fields in the communication, then applied to a trained neural network. Values of a first set of fields are applied at an input layer of the trained neural network, while values of a second set of fields are applied at an output layer of the neural network. Based on the application of the neural network to the values extracted from the communication, the computing system generates a latent vector.

Abstract: A pipe isolation device and method of using the same. The pipe isolation device includes a control bar head, a first sealing head, and a second sealing head. The first sealing head has a first seal element and a first sliding engagement. The first sliding engagement permits the first sealing head to slide relative to the control bar head along a first fixed path and traverse a right angle to gain access to an interior space of a pipe. The second sealing head has a second seal element and a second sliding engagement. The second sliding engagement permits the second sliding head to slide relative to the first sealing head along a second fixed path and traverse the right angle to gain access to an interior space of the pipe. A first seal element and a second seal element are disposed on the sealing heads and have axially-offset configurations.

  • Patent number: 11560577
Abstract: Methods for the production of L-glufosinate (also known as phosphinothricin or (S)-2-amino-4-(hydroxy(methyl)phosphonoyl)butanoic acid) are provided. The methods comprise a two-step process. The first step involves the oxidative deamination of D-glufosinate to PPO (2-oxo-4-(hydroxy(methyl)phosphinoyl)butyric acid). The second step involves the specific amination of PPO to L-glufosinate, using an amine group from one or more amine donors. By combining these two reactions, the proportion of L-glufosinate in a mixture of L-glufosinate and D-glufosinate can be substantially increased.

  • Patent number: 11550723
Abstract: An apparatus, method, and system for memory bandwidth aware data prefetching is presented. The method may comprise monitoring a number of request responses received in an interval at a current prefetch request generation rate, comparing the number of request responses received in the interval to at least a first threshold, and adjusting the current prefetch request generation rate to an updated prefetch request generation rate by selecting the updated prefetch request generation rate from a plurality of prefetch request generation rates, based on the comparison. The request responses may be NACK or RETRY responses. The method may further comprise either retaining a current prefetch request generation rate or selecting a maximum prefetch request generation rate as the updated prefetch request generation rate in response to an indication that prefetching is accurate.

  • Patent number: 11514532
Abstract: Techniques are described for managing data transfer between an enterprise system and a third-party provider system, through a batch interface of the third-party provider system. A batch of transaction data is uploaded through the batch interface for enrichment, and enrichment data is received in response. The enrichment data provides additional context regarding each of the transactions specified in the uploaded batch. The enrichment data can be sent back to the presented to user(s) through various tools. Prior to uploading, the batch can be filtered to include those records corresponding to users who have opted into a service. Filtering can also exclude records for which enrichment data has already been provided through a real-time process. Reconciliation can be performed to ensure integrity of the communicated data.
