  • Publication number: 20230181788
Abstract: A sanitizer has substrates which are coated with an optically-activated nanomaterial TiO2 coating for cleaning air which comes into contact with the surfaces of the coating. UV LED light sources are arranged to emit light to be incident on the surfaces to activate the coatings. There is a large surface for impingement of air on the coatings due to a grille arrangement of the substrates, and the LED-emitted UV light being incident at acute angles on the grille honeycomb structure.

  • Patent number: 11059416
Abstract: An electrochromic adaptive driving beam system for a vehicle includes a vehicle headlamp, a high-beam light source, and a low-beam light source. The vehicle headlamp includes an electrochromic material that covers the high-beam light source attached to the vehicle headlamp. The low-beam light source is uncovered by the electrochromic material of the vehicle headlamp. The electrochromic material is transparent to transmit light projected from the high-beam light source and changes opacity to reduce glare projected from the high-beam light source through the vehicle headlamp in response to a voltage.

  • Publication number: 20180274851
Abstract: An illuminator has an elongate tubular body containing LEDs on a substrate and a lens forming a bridge over the LEDs. The tubular housing has a transparent top part to act as an outer lens and diffuser. The housing is connected at each end to an end cap via a resilient seal which is moulded into the end cap. The internal lens is compact and provides a versatile choice of illuminator configuration for desired illumination. A convex curved lower lens s profile ensures efficient transmission of emitted light without colour separation. The extent of sealing is very short due to the closed tube nature of the housing and the short perimeters for sealing of the ends of the body to the end caps.
